We were seated right next to a lady talking into her headset all night letting staff know what tables were ready. It was very annoying and inconsiderate.

We ordered the ahi tuna and bruschetta for appetizers and the Coopers Hawk white blend (February wine of the month). Our food and wine were excellent!!! We were pleasantly greeted at the hostess table by Anae and she took us our seats. Our server Victoria was very sweet and did a great job making sure we were well taken care of. It was very busy because it was Valentines day weekend. We did make a reservation because we knew it would be busy! The General Manager Samantha came by our table to greet us and make sure that everything was perfect with our food and wine. We enjoyed talking to her and could tell she is very attentive to the guests and the staff there. 10/10 - we will be back!!!! Thank you!!

Cooper’s Hawk is a great dining experience. The service is always on point and the food, wine and cocktails are quite good, if expensive. You get what you pay for though. The presentation of the dishes is fantastic. Everything looks as good as it tastes. I live an hour away but we make it a point to make the drive periodically to dine there. I highly recommend you do some wine tasting as well. They have a number of good selections and we usually end up taking a bottle home. This is one of my favorite stops in Springfield.

I went earlier in the day with a bouquet of flowers for our table later in the evening. When we were seated for dinner, there was the bouquet on our table and a big surprise look and smile on her face. We had the surf and turf special and it was incredible! We really enjoyed our server’s personality and attentiveness. When we asked for our bill, she said that it had already been paid for. We asked who and she said that they had left already and she didn’t know their names. The evening had been incredible, but to have someone bless us by paying for our meal! What a great Valentine’s Day!

Dined for Valentine’s Day. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful, not pushy. Food was fresh and very good quality. Ambiance/atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect for table conversations without feeling like we had to yell or miss something because it was too noisy. Entire facility was clean and well maintained. Our waiter, Blake was attentive and knowledgeable about selections We had a wonderful dining experience and will be returning.

The food was different than we were used to at least the entrées, the appetizer and dessert was fantastic. The entrées kinda tastes as if they were in the warming window too long plus we wanted them to be medium well and they were rare.

Great serve and high quality food. Expensive, but worth it. Our favorite restaurant in Springfield, Illinois. Get the drunken shrimp appetiser. Best dry reds around.
