Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Copper & Salt Northwest Kitchen offers a stunning dining experience with sweeping views of Commencement Bay. Guests rave about the "amazing" vegetarian lasagna and "phenomenal" chicken Caesar salad. While some note occasional service hiccups, the "exceptional" food and beautiful atmosphere make it a top choice for brunch, lunch, or dinner.

We recently visited the Copper & Salt Northwest Kitchen on a weekday evening for a special occasion. The environment is very nice with a great view of the Sound! But during our visit a table was occupied by a single individual wearing headphones and working on a computer. Meanwhile our “special seating” was away from the window, and in part looking over the lone person working at a table for four. The staff was friendly and helpful, except for the bartender. She ignored me, then acknowledged me when I took another place on the other end of the bar, told me she’d be right back, and then ignored me long enough that I walked away and wasn’t served. Our dinner began with the House Whipped Ricotta, which was excellent! But beyond that, the meal we had wasn’t exceptional. We enjoyed our halibut and seafood buccatini, which were well prepared, but for this price, this review should reflect a much better experience. The Copper & Salt is a very good restaurant, but we’ll continue to look for a place for our special celebrations.

Good was very mediocre despite being advertised as upscale. Not dissimilar to many Ruston locales, you’re paying mainly for the ambiance (which ironically was also mediocre)

We loved the atmosphere and service. We ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, lamb ragu and wedge salad-all were wonderful. Enjoy!

We went for their Thanksgiving Dinner at 7:00 and even though they were about an hour from closing, the service was wonderful, from the young lady who seated us, to our server, Sabrina. The servings were very generous. Both salads were very tasty, citrus and kale. The vegetarian lasagna was amazing—so delicious, especially the sugo! My husband had the steelhead and while it was slightly overcooked, the flavors with the lentils and buerre blanc sauce were really good. We ate everything and had the dessert to go. We will be back.

Thanksgiving spaghetti was just noodles and one big meatball for 70$ was a little steep for not a great meal. Sat us close to kitchen bar area even though we had reservations. There was a table with a water view and they could’ve given it to us instead. Overpriced.

We had a delicious three course meal. The service was excellent as well. From the valet, the receptionist, and the servers, everyone was professional, friendly, and made sure we had an enjoyable afternoon. We also liked the sweeping views of Commencement Bay. Would highly recommend Copper & Salt.

Great Italian - classic with a creative twist. Loved the lamb ragout- not something you see everywhere. Elegant and spacious with excellent service.
