Cork & Flame can trace its history back to 2004 when Roger Strohl opened The Vineyard Wine Market. After a successful 13 years, The Vineyard has joined forces with Chef Justin Hayes and partners to form a unique combination of fine dining, tapas and wine market, offering customers a single culinary experience. In addition to the fine dining, tapas and wine market, the Cork and Flame hosts wine tastings, wine dinners, and private party events.

    The staff was very pleasant and mostly knowledgeable about the menu. Plenty of good food options were available with specials. The lobster bisque was mostly good, the salad wedge left much to be desired. The snapper special with carrot purée and the salmon was good. The apple pie was alright but a little bland. The ambience within the restaurant changed drastically based on where you were seated with some areas more isolated set in a corner exit in an almost “forgotten” about or hidden manner.

    Paul was our server this evening, his knowledge of the food prep, flavors allows him to perfectly describe each dish. Our sommelier was Gonzalo Moraga, we always share what kind of wine we like and the price range we are looking for- he never disappoints with options that are so interesting and perfectly pair with our food choices. He is The food was excellent- we had the tuna poke bowl And crab cake to start, both were fresh and perfectly cooked. Chef prepares a perfect lobster bisque and I appreciate that the wedge salads are not just an enormous hunk of iceberg, they are creatively crafted with bacon, blur cheese crumbles and fresh blues. Cheese dressing. Love the palette cleansers between courses. The main dishes we selected were the red snapper, venison with spatzle and the show stopper- boar osso bucco over risotto. thank you Cork & Flame for another memorable dinner, keep raising the bar for other restaurants to reach.

    I was genuinely impressed with the menu, especially my meal. I ordered the market catch, which was swordfish. The meal was delicious. The ambiance was perfect for date night. This was our first visit there, and my wife and I would definitely come back again. The experience, service, and food were definitely worth the price point.

    Great first experience. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and the staff took such great care of us from the moment we walked in. Loved the special gifts from the kitchen- the amuse-bouche and sorbet palate cleansers were adorable and delicious. Loved the atmosphere and service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

    Our dinner was disappointing. We ate early bc it was only time available so the kitchen was not slammed and no reason for the poor quality of our dinner. The beet salad and lobster bisque were delicious. The 2 filets were tough and flavor was off. We bought a great bottle of wine in the shop and opted to finish it rather than risk ordering a disappointing dessert. For $48, I would have expected a better quality of beef.
