Cortona's Italian Cuisine & Wine Bars' name sake, Cortona Italy, is a small town tucked into the hills of Tuscany. Simone Lucarini, co-owner and Chef, was born and raised in this Etruscan era town and came to live in the United States in 2015 were he met his partner and wife, Elizabeth Lucarini. He brings to the restaurant; his cooking experience, working as a cook helping open several restaurants around the world, including France, West Bank, and upper New York State to name a few. He earned his sommelier certification at A.I.S. Associazione Italiana Sommeliers. What he truely bring to Cortona's is the Italian experience; eat, drink, laugh... repeat. We had family in for a visit this weekend. They had been to Cortona's during their last visit and wanted to go again. The evening was as wonderful as they remembered. My wife and I had the clams and mussel's appetizer which comes in a delicious butter and wine sauce. After enjoying the perfectly prepared clams and mussels, we dip their homemade focaccia into the sauce - it's so GOOD! Both the pork chop and the Tuscan Ragu dishes were ordered and greatly enjoyed by my family. For dessert, the Lemon Mascarpone and Tiramisu treats were enjoyed by the table. The restaurant is compact and was lively the Saturday night we were there. A reservation is definitely required. Eating at Cortona's, enjoying their well prepared, tasty dishes with a glass of wine, makes for a most enjoyable dining experience.

This place is a hidden gem in lovely downtown Fortville. We enjoyed our evening celebrating my birthday with the most delicious Italian food! It feels and tastes like your are dining in Italy! The service was great and the food is of the highest quality! I highly recommend this place!

Definitely a neighborhood Gem. My wife and I enjoyed the cheese wheel. Mine accompanied with Veal and my wife with Truffle. Amazing! We finished our evening with Tiramisu, and it was equally delicious.

The food was fantastic. Our server was patient and understanding as we worked to select a wine and our food from the menu. The wine she helped us choose was outstanding and the meal choice was excellent as well. The portions were generous and prepared perfectly. It was nice to actually get pasta that had flavor and was al dente as it should be. No limp over cooked pasta like so many restaurants you go to these days. The bread was marvelous! Good texture and baked perfectly. We highly recommend Cortona's.

I loave Cortona’s fresh pasta! This is not something you get at every Italian restaurant. If I’m going to eat out, it needs to be better than what I can make at home (I’m a pretty good cook) and something I just can’t get in the grocery store either. Pasta in a wheel of cheese made right in front of you? Awesome! The sauces are very fresh and very authentic. I’ve been to Italy and worked in an Italian restaurant with Italian chefs making everything from scratch and trust me this is the real thing! Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself. Also, do NOT leave without tasting the Tiramisu! I’m a total Tiramisu snob as picky as they come because I learned how to make it from the best. Cortona’s delicious and spot on.
