   Lovely dining experience. Staff were lovely, food were delicious, and the ambience was comforting. Location is perfect, right across the LW Theatre in Drury Lane. I was a bit ashamed for coming late due to raining and a mistake of coming to the wrong branch of the restaurant. I arrived on time, but it was the branch in St. Martin’s Lane. Geez! I had to walk another 8 minutes to reach the right place. Well done, Google Maps!

   Tremendous service. We got our steak in under 10 minutes from ordering. Like the revamp.

   Table booked for pre theatre. Very busy but this didn’t compromise service, ambience or food. Would recommend and would definitely go again

   We dined early on a Saturday evening, post matinée at the ROH. We were seated in the basement, having declined a seat just inside the door,( it was a very cold day) and a table for 2 that would have been very uncomfortable for one of us. Although from a noise level the basement was fine but our table was positioned so that the server had to pass our food and drinks across the diners at the next table. They were fine about it but different diners could have been rather annoyed. It wasn't ideal. We all had a laugh about it but I felt sorry for the servers that were put in that position. It was also so busy that we had to wait a very long time for our main course. It was just as well that we weren't in a hurry. The toilets are in the basement, accessed from a different staircase. Only 2 ladies cubicles, next to the kitchen, and as there was a queue servers were constantly coming past with enormous serving trays. Not ideal for anyone.

   Unfortunately we were let down by the service, waiter did not know how the steaks were cooked when bought to the table. Confusing

   food is always really nice (the fougasse and the chocolate mousse are especially yummy!) we just wish the service was a bit faster. Having to wait 15+ minutes to order etc can be stressful, especially as a lot of customers are there to eat before going to one of the nearby theatres. It is a shame, as the staff are very friendly. The other main issue is that their "disabled" toilet is totally inaccessible to anyone in a wheelchair or anyone who struggles to use stairs.

    The food and drink was good and service was very fast. They did however get our drinks mixed up with the table next to us but it was rectified, so hence the four rather than five star review. Nice atmosphere if a little cramped. Would eat there again.
