The Côte Breakfast was very poor. The bacon appeared to have been cut from a scrawny piglet - two pieces no more than 1.5 cm wide and 6 or 7 cm long. It was a good job we'd swapped out the mushrooms for extra bacon or the rashers would have been completely lost under the eggs. "Crispy confit potatoes" consisted of three small cubes of fried potato. Overall, disappointing quantities and very poor value for money. When we mentioned our disappointment to the member of staff when we paid, we were offered two complimentary cocktails on our next visit - given we only ever visit this restaurant for breakfast, it was hardly compensation for the meal.

We asked and were given a lovely booth on the ground floor to accommodate my parent’s needs. Service was prompt and friendly. We enjoyed the new Cote menu and the creme caramel went down well for desserts.

A really lovely birthday brunch! Great vibe, friendly service and delicious food! I’d definitely recommend the French toast! The staff were also great with our two young children, so thank you!

Obviously a busy time of year, but nearly 30 mins to get out a baked camenbert was rather disappointing....as.was the steak....gristly and fatty in places. Rather expensive for what it was.

Overall our experience was outstanding but that was down mainly to the staff. It was a very challenging evening due to being incredibly busy & very short staffed in the kitchen and therefore a huge delay with food. Our fougasse bread was excellent and came out reasonably quickly. However, we then waited an hour and a half for our food that was then stone cold and tepid. Our waiter Antal was excellent in explaining one of the dishes & was extremely apologetic, and Ellie was amazing, more than making up for it by adjusting our bill. We are regulars so know that this was a one off. Their customer service to us was superb & made up for any not so good points. We’ve been back since and would highly recommend.

Lovely welcome as always - shame there was so many items not available on the menu. Always love coming but not having some items made choosing more difficult and perhaps would have had a better experience if could have had our first choices! However had a lovely time with great friends.
