Needed more staff, especially behind the bar. Staff were under a lot of pressure and service was slow. Pre dinner drinks didn't arrive before our starters

The area where we sat was cold. The meal was otherwise good.

Lovely evening. Great meal and staff nice and welcoming. Also like Cote in Newbury and better than others.

The staff were very friendly and they helped me celebrate my partners birthday by giving her a card that said it was from all of the team. When entering the restaurant we were greeted by a very friendly staff member. I had booked the table for 17:30pm but had to change it due to my partners work to 18:00pm We turned up and was immediately shown to our table and was told that one of the servers was doing our table. We was ignored for 15 mins and until they took our drink orders. They came back with one of the drinks we had ordered and was given a completely different drink we told it that it was wrong was told just deal with it and shut up. The atmosphere was great food was very taste.

Food was amazing, manager served us as I have dietary requirements and he was fantastic. Sunday evening booking, and it wasn't busy so the atmosphere was great. Wines are fantastic, cheeseboard after the meal was great value. Both mine and the husbands mains were rich and tasty - Duck a l'orange and Rib Eye Steak. Best port I've ever had, and the pairing with the cheeseboard was insanely good.
