   Good food, great value. Went for an early lunch so it was a little quiet and, therefore, lacked any ambience too. Staff were very good and the food arrived quickly. Would go back but would try an evening next time.

   Needed more staff, especially behind the bar. Staff were under a lot of pressure and service was slow. Pre dinner drinks didn't arrive before our starters

   The vegetables were terrible. The broccoli was a pale limp green colour mixed with freshly cooked broccoli. I’d asked for nothing to be added or glazed in any way. However, the pale green reheated broccoli had clearly been “wiped” clean of whatever it was in initially and added to the fresh broccoli. The scallops were over sprayed with some kind of oil (clearly not olive oil) and had had some unpleasent flavour added to them in some way. I have had digestive problems ever since. What on earth happened to this branch of Côte which is usually pretty reliable? The good point of the evening was the waitress who was excellent.

   Lovely evening. Great meal and staff nice and welcoming. Also like Cote in Newbury and better than others.

   The staff were very friendly and they helped me celebrate my partners birthday by giving her a card that said it was from all of the team. When entering the restaurant we were greeted by a very friendly staff member. I had booked the table for 17:30pm but had to change it due to my partners work to 18:00pm We turned up and was immediately shown to our table and was told that one of the servers was doing our table. We was ignored for 15 mins and until they took our drink orders. They came back with one of the drinks we had ordered and was given a completely different drink we told it that it was wrong was told just deal with it and shut up. The atmosphere was great food was very taste.
