   My tart tatin was sloppy and mushy. The staff sympathized and said they’ve experienced lots of issues with it. Why is it still being offered if this is a known problem? I didn’t pay for it which was some consolation but my experience was spoiled and I didn’t eat well!

   Cauliflower gratin wasn't very good at all Banana crepe dessert said served hot but it was cold and the tiniest price of Banana !

   Cote is a place, where you will find a good, tasty food and fine wines. We are regularly visiting Cote in the different UK cities and never were disappointed.

   Steak was overcooked and the food took a long time to arrive (although the restaurant was busy).

   Good to be offered a Prix Fix on a Sunday. We upgraded both mains but it was still great value. Steak Deluxe and Mushroom Cassoulet both recommended. Staff friendly and efficient.

   Disappointing dinner. I used to frequent Cote in Oxford quite a lot and always loved the food and service here. Returning to the restaurant after a while since i moved further away, i found tonight dinner disappointing. My pork belly’s skin was burnt - it was inedible so i had to leave the skin, the meat was dry. I was so sad because i am a big fan of Cote’s pork belly. I always ordered the same dish anytime i visit Cote. My mom’s steak frites was also disappointing - very dry and tough meat. They also ran out of creme brulee and creme caramel at 7:30 PM on a Sunday… Service was so slow, we had to wait for a long time in between courses. They tried to stuff the restaurant with so many people its hard to move around.

   The Sunday roast wasn’t too much to brag about. Flavors of sides didn’t harmonize with traditional Sunday Roast tastes. Broccolini had Asian flavor and everything else was British taste. Plus NO takeaway containers?!

    We had the Christmas set menu so hard to say what the food is like overall. We will go again definitely to have a calmer experience as Christmas was just too full on for us. The staff were absolutely brilliant, went over and above to help with anything.
