Chicken dry, steak wasn’t good, saw a mouse run across downstairs bit of the restaurant at end of the night

We had an amazing meal at Cote on Wardour Street. The atmosphere was lovely and the setting very cosy. We had the Alpine small plates including fondue and tartiflette which were sooooo good. And the service was impeccable. Overall, a lovely lunch and highly recommended.

From arrival to leaving we were looked after well. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious and great value for money. We will return for another meal soon.

I can’t say that our experience was perfect. It was a late booking at 10pm as we wanted to see in the new year over dinner. On arrival our table was not ready and we were asked to come back in half an hour… we were all already very hungry. However, we were ok to do this and went and had a lovely drink at Soho Hotel. The team went out of there way to make up for it. Free bottle of fizz was appreciated. We all enjoyed our night but personally I would not book again for a New Year meal. It felt all very hectic and the food was not up to Cotes usual standard. I was particularly bemused by the sharing first course of olives and crudités (for 7 people to share!) But we had fun so all is well that ends well.

Understand it was New Year’s Eve and can be busy. It was a prix fixe menu, and the first courses came out fairly quickly. Then we waiting almost an hour and a half for desert. We asked several times to just get the bill, but they would say oh the desert is coming out now. Finally they did give us the bill after we had been there for 3 hours and we never got the desert.

Nous étions en famille pour le réveillon de Noël L’ambiance de Noël ne s’y trouvait pas c dommage 😔 On était accueilli comme des clients classique

Staff very friendly and when we had a small issue it was sorted immediately and generously.

The service was good and the food tasted ok. The portions however were very small and not really a main size portion for an adult ( but fine for children). My husband, I and older son were hungry again within a couple of hours.
