   My No.1 restaurant to go to in St Albans! The variety & quality of food is great and the staff are very attentive. The restaurant itself is very spacious and cosy. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a good meal in St Albans!

   We arrived 40 minutes before pur reservation, staff were accomadating. We have been struggling to find somewhere with more than a couple of G/F options however this was not an issue, and staff were very considerate at making sure the G/F option went to the right customer.

   Service slow but polite and friendly. Menu choice good, food pleasant but nothing amazing.

   We arrived with a 2 hour window for a 3 course dinner and due to slow service we only managed 2 fit in 2 courses. Had to catch a waiter’s attention to order another drink.

   We had a lovely evening and had a really nice waiter. Whilst the service was good they had to be prompted for steak knives then spoons to serve the veg. They seemed a bit disorganised. But it was lovely to eat outside on one of the few summer evenings we’ll have now.

   We had a lovely supper in the outside seating area. The service from all of the staff was attentive knowledgeable & efficient. We had three courses & the foot was outstanding - delicious & well presented. Will be back very soon
