Had an excellent experience here. The room is tiny, but the cozy atmosphere and warm, accommodating staff made us feel right at home. We opted for seats at the bar rather than squeezing into a table seat. The bartender/waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. The bolognese pasta was one of the best ever. Prices are more than reasonable by NY standards. Highly recommend.

Great value and great vibe. It's small and very tight space but it's great food and service at a reasonable price. Down to earth still feels a bit upscale for the price.

Great service, amazing food, and very fair prices. The place is quite small and was packed, so we had to wait about 15 minutes past our reservation to be seated. However, it was definitely worth it!

Lamb chops are incredible, my third time getting them and they are amazing every time. The spaghetti and meatballs and bolognese. Restaurant is very ambient and nice but I feel the music could’ve matched the mood better.

Was excited to try this place as we had gone to Aria in the past but were a bit disappointed. We had selected regular seating but were placed at the bar due to lack of seating and got hit with a cold draft any time the front door opened. The food was good but our pastas came out a bit over cooked. All the servers were kind and accommodating though!

The food was excellent! The goat cheese appetizer is truly fantastic! We had a party of 12 people and all of us were impressed by the food and the quality of service.

I don’t get the high food ratings for this place. The place is cute, but a wee bit too tight as others suggest, but the food was an average. It is not overpriced which is a positive. I wonder what the those with best Italian food ever with 5 stars are thinking. I must have been at the wrong place. I need to have an OMG food experience to give 5 stars. This was not OMG. It’s a 3-1/2, maybe 3-3/4. But, I couldn’t give a 4 for food as it didn’t reach that level. I agree with the other reviewer on the vongole. Not enough clams. The overall flavor was pretty weak. I usually avoid reviews. If you are reading this at Cotenna, please take it in the seriousness it was written. I think you can do better.
