Taste the fresh ingredients harvested from local organic farms that are hand selected by Executive Chef Goran Basarov and exquisitely prepared by his culinary team into the savory dishes available on our new menus. Covey Grill features a casual elegance with its indoor and outdoor dining located alongside the natural backdrop of Quail's sparkling pond and lush gardens. Our Carmel, CA restaurant is proudly guided in the principles of sustainability by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch and focuses on local farm to table options.

We offer a variety of menus throughout the week between our two restaurants, Covey Grill and Edgar's Restaurant.
Wednesday Dinners Chef Goran exquisitely curates our Love Thy Neighbor menu each week, a unique three-course pre-fixe dinner for $59++. 5PM-9PM every Wednesday.

The Covey is nestled in Quail Lodge with views of mountains, ponds and a golf course. A small dining room with fireplace, open seating with a view of the pond or cozy tables with a couch type feel and pillows greet you. The staff has been around for many years and is very accommodating. The menu is ever changing depending upon local fare, fish and beef. I enjoyed a scallops appetizer and a whole Branzino fish cooked to perfection. Most enjoyable evening if you like more quiet and not the Ocean Avenue Biz.

We have become major fans of Chef Basarov. Under his regime, I firmly believe that the Covey Grill may have become the top of the "haute cuisine" chart for the entire Monterey Bay Area. Each and every item we have ordered from his menu has been superb--not just in presentation, but in the surprising explosion of tastes in the mouth. In turn, the service is excellent--every time is a happy event, a badly needed escape during these troubling times.

this has become a Wednesday eve habit. Each evening is a different menu and it just keeps getting better and better.

This was my 50th Wednesday dinner. Each and every one has been wonderful,delicious,artistically plated and romantic. So I would say very different and varied every Wednesday and consistently great.

we had a great meal tonight at the Covey. Staff was terrific especially Emerson and Plu. They took great care of our large group. Chef did great job. Outside of Carmel by the Sea, the Covey is worth a visit.

Service has always been good at the Covey. Food is becoming more creative with more variety. Everyone will enjoy their meal at the Covey!

Valentine's Day dinner was excellent. This is the fourth time we've been here and the chef keeps us happy. Each menu is different and not repeated. Looking forward for future dining adventures.

This is our third time experiencing the Prix Fix Wednesday menu. Once again, outstanding value, astounding choices and the Chef is amazing. The ahi appetizer was generous and perfectly seared, the lamb loin was fork tender, Chocolate banana bread pudding with sliced bananas was devoured. Looking forward to exploring further Wednesdays.
