Felt very small, not at all as nice as the Fitzrovia venue and the food was average at best. Really disappointed actually.

Everything was fantastic and the only issue was the service. We were left for long periods with dirty plates on table, and not being attended to.

Very unimpressed in that I booked a table, arrived and the restaurant wasn't even open! Very disappointing.

I came here for dinner before going to watch the opera. Upon entering the waiter suggested that I was lucky to gain access to what I could see was an empty restaurant (not a great start) - I guess it was too exclusive for the likes of me (if some of the staff have an issue with serving the general public then don't offer tables to them). I was then seated and given the drinks menu. I asked a very lovely and welcoming bartender for a drinks suggestion and he suggested a drink which I proceeded to order. Only when the drink was served did I find that the waiter (the one that had greeted me) had changed my drink as the sprint used to make the drink was on the pricey side (according to him), he didn't ask me if I wanted it changed, he just assumed I couldn't afford it. After that, I was pretty offended so I paid the bill for the drink I didn't order and left! I remember this day like it was yesterday, never have I been so offended. Never going back there! (Don't judge a book by it's cover!!!)

Good venue, nice food, good wine. Bit overpriced but good place for a treat.

We had a very enjoyable evening at The Crazy Bear with excellent ambience and a faultless service. The one point against Crazy Bear was the quantity of food, though delicious in taste, it was very mediocre in size. At £315 for the five of us celebrating my son's 21st birthday we left there feeling hungry! I cannot quantify the one scallop with a teaspoon of noodles as a starter substantial at approx £10 each. Nor the 'cocktails' that came up as all five drinks were covered to the top in crushed ice with very little drink, apart from one my husband had ( a whisky type) whereby his glass was filled with one colossal block of ice and barely a tablespoon of drink! If the Crazy Bear can up their portion sizes in future, they may find that they have more bottoms on seats!

We went there to celebrate my missus’s birthday and she was well chuffed with my choice 😊 we ordered more food than we should have and struggled to finish as the portions are sizeable.. the pork belly was tougher than I expected, but everything else was scrumptious.. also, one of the best old fashioned I’ve tasted.. service was great and totally justified the 13.5% additional charge.. would definitely go there again.
