Credence is a South Texas, ranch-inspired upscale restaurant with a focus on live-fire cooking. Chef and two-time James Beard Award-nominated restaurateur Levi Goode's inaugural concept promises a culinary exploration of Texas through his unique perspectives on the region's food, people, culture, and the culmination of a lifetime of stories.

We invite you to join us on the lawn in front of Credence on May 3rd for our inaugural Hats & Horses celebration. We’ll broadcast the Derby while you enjoy signature cocktails by Woodford and Herradura, paired perfectly with curated bites from the culinary team at Credence. Live music and prizes for best dressed, best hat and more will be included in the festivities. Open air, general admission tickets start at $125 and include bites from Credence along with two signature cocktails. A limited number of VIP bungalows will allow access to a private viewing and exclusive dining experience. VIP tickets start at $500.

Excellence at it best. The Red snapper superb, the grilled carrots, yummy, the ambience, the customer service, the attentiveness of the staff was exceptional.

It was our first time dining at Credence and we were definitely impressed. From the hostess being very friendly to the bartender giving excellent service as we waited for our table. The ambience at the restaurant was exquisite and I’m such a fan of the open kitchen concept. We decided to try different appetizers and they were amazing from the devil crab, the shrimp cocktail and the fried quail was delicious. For dinner we had the snapper and the fillet along with french fries and the blue crab fried rice, the blue fried crab rice was amazing. We have added Credence as one of our faves in Houston and will definitely return.

Excellent food. One of the two best pork chops in Houston! Excellent red snapper, flatbread and oysters. Mezcal was delish. Martini was ok. Vespers were great!

Food and service were amazing as usual. The duck service is easily one of the best entrees in the entire region, amazing diversity of flavors and textures. This restaurant continues to be of the highest quality since it opened.

This was our 3rd time here, The Red Headed Stranger is an excellent cocktail to start with. The food is very tasty but not over done. The sides are great to share. While still a great evening, did notice that the serving team was a little understaffed when compared to our prior two visits. Sunday night or spring break might have been a factor. Still a nice evening and highly recommended.
