   It's a lovely setting with a beautiful and elegant high tea. The wait staff are well trained, knowledgeable and friendly. It was an excellent experience and good value. Highly recommend.

   We went in on a Sunday so the noise level was definitely increased and at times it was a little hard to talk. You might need to lean in if you go on a busier day. But overall, it was incredible. The food was delicious and I drank a whole pot of tea by myself because it was so good. It is on the price your side, but you can tell they put a lot of effort into making the food top-tier. The service was efficient and everyone was super friendly and polite. When I first got in, I definitely felt like I was on top of other people because it’s so squished in. But after a bit, you don’t notice it. We unfortunately got sat by the door, but it wasn’t a big deal and the staff was kind enough to offer a change in seating after another table opened up because we had made reservations and weren’t just walk-ins. The interior was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before because of all the detail put into it. I can definitely tell that the owner has a lot of creativity for syncing up such unique decor to go. We will definitely be returning and I’m so excited to see what else they have to offer.

   Crème has incredibly beautiful and delicious food, but unfortunately, the dining experience was severely marred by appalling service. We had a reservation for 4 at 7pm, when we arrive on time, we were met with a full house and complete disarray. Despite our confirmed reservation, we were completely forgotten about. At 7:15, staff approached us, asking how they could "help," clearly having no recollection of asking us 15 minutes prior about our reservation. It took until 7:20 for them to get together a makeshift table in a busy walkway – a cramped, unacceptable arrangement for a group of 4. We refused, and decided to wait for a proper table. At 7:30, we were finally seated, again at a less-than-ideal table (I.e. right by the door so we were cold every time the door opened). After 15 minutes, we were eventually moved to a better spot. To their credit, they offered a 10% discount, a gesture we appreciated. However, the issues didn't end there. When the bills arrived, the promised 10% discount was applied to only 3/5 desserts, not the total bill as expected. This oversight furthered our frustration. While the food at Crème was undeniably excellent, the abysmal service overshadowed any culinary delights. From forgotten reservations to inadequate seating and incorrect discounts, the experience was poor customer service. While there’s grace to a newer restaurant, I would hesitate to recommend it based on service alone, despite the quality of the food.

   The food was savoury and delicious. Ordered the afternoon, which was worth it!!!!! The sweets are divine ✨️ however the space is incredibly crowded; it was difficult to get to our table without bumping the people sitting and eating at other tables. Also due to overcrowding, the noise level takes away from the calmness of what an afternoon tea should feel like.

   Best place for sweet tooth, deserts are delicious. Break food is good but not up to expectations . Service is excellent. We choose this place for ambiance and deserts, that satisfy our desire.

    My  biggest issue with this spot is how cold it is inside that was a miscalculation in part of the builder . Anyone who knows Halifax knows how windy it gets on the waterfront how cold it can get the restaurant is very cold. Blankets is not the solution. We just need a warm atmosphere so you’re gonna need to put an extra building to cover the front door because it takes away from the experience when you’re freezing hopefully somebody’s gonna read this and do something about it. Otherwise, it really is a lovely place.
