Given the hype I was expecting more from this restaurant. They offer a 6-course tasting menu which was good but only two of the courses were really special. We chose the drink pairings which were ok but we did not find any particular relation to the food and they were not explained. The service was a bit patchy; our waiter forgot which course we were on so tried to bring us the same one twice, and the drinks were not coordinated with the food. The ambiance is delightful. Overall I would not rush back as there are far better options in the center of the city; this one is peripheral and you need to take a taxi to/from.

Okay first let me tell you this is the biggest tourist trap on the planet. They served us tostadas, tacos, and ESQUITE. Those are extremely simple basic Mexican food that is extremely low cost to make. The price for the dinner was absurd and obviously only there to take advantage of the tourist willing to pay that. I was disappointed too because I am Mexican but it was pitched as a tasting menu for comida Oaxaqueña. I had to complain to get a cocktail with MEZCAL, which is the most famous liquor of the region. How is the dinner supposed to be a taste of Oaxaca and you serve us one little thing with mole and none with mezcal.

We loved our dinner and the beautiful ambiance. Dinner is a set menu of 6 courses. The staff was great they called a taxi to take us back to the centro.

The six-course dinner was absolutely excellent, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. The presentation was impeccable, and the pacing between courses allowed us to savor each one without feeling rushed. Equally impressive was the customer service—attentive, professional, and warm. The staff anticipated our needs effortlessly, adding to the overall exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended!

Beautiful dining patio with lovely service (both in English and Spanish). The drink pairing was interesting with different types of alcohol such as Cava, Mexican sake, beer, tequila and a gin & ginger cocktail. Original choices and all went well with the delicious food. At one point the courses came a little bit too quickly after one another but after we asked to slow down a bit they were flexible and immediately slowed down. The umami soft shell crab with mole taco was our favorite as well as the tamales filled with guava with herbal yoghurt ice cream. We also tasted a bunch of new regional fruits and vegetables - all in all a great experience and well worth the money!

The expectation to having authentic Oaxaca flavors and food is far away from this restaurant. While they experience new trends it losses the essence of local flavors Restaurant is interesting and it has romantic look
