   Writing this review on behalf of my grandma who doesn't have facebook or trip advisor. Booked a meal at The Crown with loved ones on Valentines Evening. We had the Valentines Special Menu which was divine. The lamb rump was delicious and we even had room for puddings which were very good, as usual. We had a lovely meal and then stayed for drinks to watch the artist, Martin Gregory Lambert. We had a brilliant Valentines Night full of lots of cheer, love and laughs. Thank you again The Crown for your hospitality. Would recommend to others who want a lovely meal and great entertainment!

   We booked the valentine menu, there were 5 mains to choose from but only 3 were available so we had to order from the main menu and ended up paying double the amount. I had the lasagne which was tiny, I usually cannot finish my mains but this time I had to order chips as it was so small and thin. The other meal was fine. I have previously eaten at the crown and found it quite good but this time was disappointing.

   We had a lovely festive meal at the Crown. Food was excellent, service impeccable and great value for money. Will definitely be back and would recommend to others.

   4 different meals and all faultless. Service time was just right and very friendly. Thoroughly recommended.

   Quite noisy but the excellent food and the efficient friendly welcome and service more than compensated for it. This is a gem of a local pub, where the customers come first and the quality never drops.

    Everything was fresh, the staff were friendly, the pub did get noisy but it was Saturday evening
