Poised high above the Dallas skyline atop Reunion Tower, Crown Block offers a culinary experience to surpass that of the typical steakhouse, complemented by an approachable, stylish environment in celebration of all things grilled, seared and roasted. A fine balance between steak, seafood and plant-based cuisine, featuring ingredients from regional farms, ranches and the Gulf of Mexico. The Rare Steak program embraces a range of offerings that includes Prime Beef, Texas Wagyu, and Japanese A5 Wagyu and is complimented by a sushi and chilled seafood display, a dessert bar with pastry chefs in action, as well as signature craft cocktails and an extensive wine list.

Wine and dine on another level with breathtaking views of the city. This isn’t just a steakhouse, this rises above them all.

My date and I had a reservation for 7:15pm. Upon arrival valley parked our vehicle and we were greeted at the door with a “ranch water” cocktail. We then took the elevator up to the restaurant and were promptly escorted to our table. We started off with a bottle of Pinot Noir for drinks and of course servers kept us hydrated with water throughout our dinner and made sure we were well taken care of. For appetizers we had the Chicken Kaarage (GF) and Salmon Crudo. For our main meals we ordered the Salmon Steak and Duck Leg Confit and shared a flight of sides including the roasted mushrooms, triple cooked fries, and Brussel Sprouts! The food was amazing and so was the service. Everything was delicious and prepared in a timely manner. Great experience if you’re are new to the Dallas area wanting to explore and see beautiful views of the city.

The food, ambiance, and staff were excellent. Was a little confusing as you take an elevator or stairs down a level upon entering to get an elevator up to the top floor. They welcome you with ranch water upon checkin. We had a nice table overlooking Dallas. However, it was raining, and the view was obstructed. We started with the lobster bisque for our appetizer and then the filet mignon with mashed potatos for our main. Prepared to perfection. You need to make room for dessert. I had the bourbon caramel cake, and he had the chocolate peanut butter bar. It's different and so good. I took off one star because you literally can not contact them. I called their number throughout the day and left a message. There is a dress code, but my husband's luggage was lost at the airport upon arrival. Therefore, he only had jeans and a sweatshirt on once we arrived. I had called earlier multiple times to inquire if this is acceptable due to our situation. Never was able to reach anyone, nor did I receive a call back after I left a message. We ended up getting into an Uber to make our reservation time in which we had to explain his reason for dressing in person. They were accommodating due to the situation.

What a fantastic evening! From the attentive and professional staff to the wonderful ambiance, everything came together to make my granddaughter’s 16th birthday and my 61st truly special. The only downside was that the music was a bit loud, but overall, it was an unforgettable experience.

This is an excellent restaurant experience in Dallas and we’re so happy that it is, being in the most iconic building in an incredible city skyline. Callouts for our dinner that we thought exceeded all expectations were the Tempura Rock Shrimp, Akaushi Wagyu Striploin with the sauce trio (although it didn’t need any sauce), the flight of sides (we chose the Carrots, Mushrooms, and Broccolini - these were all phenomenal). We got the oysters (East Coast) but they were a bit fishy, we recommend skipping these for something else. The K.C. Midnight Rambler was an excellent cocktail. Ambiance is the main attraction, you’re met at the base of Reunion Tower by a welcoming staff and a ranch water for the ride up the elevator. The elevator allows you to see the whole way up, and the views from the top of the tower are spectacular. The restaurant’s decor is a mixture of timeless and cozy and is an excellent place for a celebration. We highly recommend!

It was my Birthday and I did not reveive my signed birthday card nor a candle for desert. My reservation was at 10:30 and right away the kitchen told our waiter to wrap up and take order for food. My bill there was 350 to 400 . I feel we were being rushed . Waiter provided good service. The overall experience was a 3 Not aligned with the amount of money spent tonight.

The vibes and views were great but the food was a huge miss. Something was off with everything we ordered. Absolutely not good enough for the price but would go back for a drink at the bar and a view.

Me and my group had dinner at the Crown Block, Saturday night, and it did not disappoint. It was my husbands birthday celebration with our family and it met our expectations. Food was very good, service was professional and pleasant. This is an up-scale restaurant, do not go, if you are not prepared to pay for a chef designed meal. We will be back. Enjoy!
