Crowsfoot Restaurant is located in the small farming community of Conestogo, Ontario and stands on what is known to be one of the oldest venue sites in the region. Settled by Mennonites and German immigrants in the 1820s, the site has has a continued tradition of serving great food in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Crowsfoot Restaurant will look to support the farmers in our surrounding region by offering a menu that combines the community's rich German culture with classic Southern-style Smokehouse barbecue.

Crowsfoot does have its own on-site General Store, stocked with locally sourced products, produce, and everyday essentials.

    We stopped in early for dinner on a Sunday as a family for a birthday. Everything was great - the service, the food and the unexpected birthday cake. My only isssue is the wine prices. $26 for an Ontario Chardonnay is shocking. But it was a good wine.

    Delicious, waiter could’ve had a better flow, but he was nice enough nonetheless, food was amazing, atmosphere was lovely, I’ll definitely return!

    My husband had the four meat platter with the sides of roasted vegetables and roasted potatoes. He had pulled pork smoked turkey, chicken and ribs. I had the Reuben and tater tots. We had enough leftovers to take home for lunch for tomorrow. The servings were large. The food was good.

    Food was amazing. Total of 9 diners and no complaints. Waiter did an excellent job. Travelled all the way from Hamilton for my dad’s 70th birthday. Always worth the trip. Brisket and pulled pork are outstanding. Try the pickle chips, so good. Sweet potato fries with the aioli will forever be my favourite side.

    Food was Incredible, Service was slow. The restaurant was very busy. They appeared to be short on wait staff, Noticed kitchen staff bringing meals out with mangers. So we did take that into consideration our reservation was for 6:30 and they didn’t take our order until close to 7:30 - that was a bit of an excessive wait in my opinion. After we finished our meals it took almost another 35/40 mins for the check. One of our party members had to approach the manager and ask for it. The orders were correct and the food was delicious. So the experience was good other than the long wait times, but it was a Saturday evening. We will be back to try them again for sure. Also parking was a bit of a problem, took us 6-7 mins to find a spot ( Again we did attend the restaurant at probably one of the busiest times)

    Hi Bekki, thank you for taking the time to provide your honest feedback; we appreciate your self-reflexive awareness and compassion for the reality of coming in at a busy time, but that being said, it still stings nonetheless to hear you had a substandard experience in terms of waiting so long for your order to be taken, delivered, and paid for. We do try our best to stay on top of it when we have heavy volume in the dining room but it looks like you got the kind of dinner-and-a-show we absolutely did not intend nor one you should expect in the future. It's humbling to hear that the quality of the food helped to provide a better memory of the experience, and we hope that alone entices you to try us again! -Adam, Guest Services Manager

    A group of 11 celebrating a retirement. Our server was great at managing the large group and super efficient with bills at end of evening. A couple of minor glitches with the delivery of the food but quickly resolved. Will definitely return.
