Food was great, scene was really cool, complete with live music that was loud enough to enjoy but not too loud to have a conversation. Service was awful. Our food, simply a burger and a salad, tood took almost 40 minutes to come out, and this was an 8:00pm reservation when half the restaurant had emptied. By the time we finally ate and finished, we passed on going upstairs to enjoy the views. There were a few ten minute gaps where we didn't see our waitress leaving our drinks empty. I made a reservation specifically asking for a booth and it wasn't ready which was fine. However, I saw our booth open literally minutes after arriving but it took 15 minutes to clean it and seat us. There were plenty of of staff around, they just didn't seem to have any urgency. As a result, we spent half of what we normally do at dinner which, while nice, was not our intent.

We arrived with reservation for 7:15pm. We were not seated until 7:30. We sat for a good 10 minutes before our drink orders were taken. Drinks arrived forthwith. The wait person didn’t arrive to take our food order until another 20 minutes or so had passed. Then we waited 30 minutes for some of our food to arrive (two of the three of meals). The third person’s food came a good 10 minutes later and was cold. A manager came over with the food when it arrived most likely to assuage us and to get ahead of any complaints. She apologized and asked us how we were doing with our drinks. That would have been a good time to offer, as a goodwill gesture, to comp another round of drinks but it didn’t happen. The food was tasty, albeit not at optimal temperatures. We were eventually presented with the check. We had to suggest that the late meal be comp’d. They did approve that request but, it must be noted, did not offer it. From arrival to departure was 90+ minutes. Maybe our experience was an outlier. I hope so. But I do not think we will back.

It was Valentine's Day, but the service was not attentive nor responsive. The food was bland and the cocktails were weak. Was not a good experience . . . will not go back.

We enjoyed our dinner with friends. Service was excellent and we loved the atmosphere. It was very close to the House of Blues where we enjoyed a great concert. Fantastic Valentine evening.

It was our first time at the Culinary Dropout. We loved the place. Food was awesome. Menu had something for any palate and the quality of the ingredients were top notch. We kept looking at other tables for what people ordered and everything look so good. We will definitively be back!!!
