                                                                          Service was very poor, waiter seemed not to know I had a booking for 1 person told me to wait then he went off washing dishes left me standing!! I called out to him to attend to me and he said my table for 6 persons wasn’t set up / I told him again I was dining alone. He took me to an inside table whereas every other diner was outside where weather was stunning and plenty of free spaces. It was freezing cold under the fans. He eventually brought me menu which was filthy with finger marks all over it. I ordered crispy skin barramundi/ it took almost an hour then it arrived, soggy skin drowned in some sort of mushy stuff unidentifiable and inedible - I paid $38 for the only part I could eat of the fish and left. Never eat there if you have a choice. It was in inviting, dirty and very disinterested waiter. No one asked me what I thought of the meal and looked like they didn’t care.

                                                                          Made a booking online for a business meeting for seven people. However when I turned up there was no table reserved and the staff had no idea about the booking.

                                                                          Curve Cafe is located on the busy waterfront in Darwin. It is one among many so the competition is steep. Being attached to one of the finest hotels in Darwin I expected a lot. I was disappointed, it could be great but it is pretty ordinary. There was no redeeming qualities either in decor, menu or service.

                                                                          Tracked down this place for an eye fillet. Did not disappoint! Started off with bruschetta and arancini. Bruschetta was one of the best, haloumi was used which made it different. But the main with the truffle mash was amazing. We drove in from rural area with limited expectations as many hotel restaurants are overlooked but would do it again for this level of food. Service was very good when given, although not busy had to chase waiter for 2nd round of drinks. Small recommendation, when looking for salt n pepper shakers discovered they were satchels in with the sugar on the table. Looked a little tacky. We can do better.

                                                                          We celebrated our NYE dinner at Curve and I wouldn't have it anywhere else. It was me and my boyfriend's first new year together and I'm happy about how it turned out! I requested for a seat outside and they put us where we can see the 9pm fireworks well. The guy named Cliff assisted us nicely too. The food took a while, (which is understandable since it was busy) but it is worth the wait! The Calamari and Ribs was superb! This will definitely not be the last time dining in at Curve. Highly Recommended!
