   We had a great experience at Cypress. Would definitely go back again. Food was awesome, service by Sally was great, and wonderful ambiance. Welcome change from previous restaurant at same location.

   Newly opened 11 weeks ago and really have it going great. Suggest getting reservations since it was very busy and limited open tables. The vibe is very good. The food was well prepared, ample portions and not overly expensive. Gabbi was a terrific server and very attentive. We had a salmon salad, flatbread, shrimp tacos and a burger. The wine and beer were limited with options but not too highly priced. Looking forward to have entrees next.

   2nd time eating here - this time for lunch. Very pleased with EVERYTHING! Definitely on the list for repeat visits!

   Disappointed because we’d heard positive things about Cypress. The food was nothing special and left the impression that the “A team” had the night off. My daughter didn’t like the minestrone soup, saying it was unrecognizable as minestrone. She was similarly put off by the Ahi Tuna dish which she couldn’t eat — we appreciated that they comped us for that dish. The calamari appetizer was light on calamari and mixed with an equal portion of breaded and fried hot peppers we mistook for calamari that lit our mouths on fire. The mahi tacos were okay. The happiest diner in our group ordered the burger. Aside from the mediocre food, they didn’t have enough wait staff and struggled to serve our table. I hope they pick up their game.

   Excellent fine dining at Cypress Restaurant in the heart of Severna Park Md. The atmosphere was nice, not too busy and not loud either. Our server was top notch, attentive, and knowledgeable in the food choices too. The beef tips with mashed potatoes potatoes and chicken salad were excellent and flavorful. Old fashioned drinks was yummy along with sweet deserts. We will be back.

   The only surprise was a bread request (no butter provided) resulted in a $2.50 charge for a 4” long roll.

    Staff was very friendly and the food was very good. The only problem was the timing of the delivery of the appetizers and the main course. The appetizers were delivered and Within a few minutes the food was being brought to the table. Maybe being it was lunch time and they had just opened the kitchen was super fast between the courses. The soup was very filling so I ended up taking the hamburger home for another meal. I’d love to return and try more from the menu.
