I had a delicious meal at D’Argento - I chose the Sole, others had the Risotto, Baked Clams & Ravioli which they all enjoyed. Our server was very friendly efficient and helpful she made the dinner experience very pleasant. Thank you.

Usually we eat early, at 6 when in Silverstar, and we treat ourselves to one meal at D'Argento each trip. In the past we have really enjoyed the ambience and food, sadly this visit was not so good. Friends were in town and we invited them to D'Argento for meal, they wanted to eat later so we booked for 7.30 on a Saturday night. We arrived to a very noisy room, I'd never noticed noise before, but had to cup my hands behind my ears to hear what my partner across the table was saying. Not a great start. It didn't get any better. I'm not sure if it was the Chef's day off but none of our 4 starters passed muster and only 1 of our main courses. If my wife and had been there alone we'd have complained there and then, but in deference to our inviting our friends did not do so, but when we met them the next day I asked them what they thought of the meal and both shared our view that it was below par and now what they expected. So, that afternoon I popped in before they opened for evening service, our waitress from the night before was there and I explained our concerns. They were apologetic and said they would pass them on to management. All in all a lacklustre performance. I'm not sure we will be back.

The food was delicious and the service top notch. Timing was great between drinks and courses. Quite a gem in the village.

The food was great. The service was great. The noise level impacted our experience. Everything else was lovely. We considered having dessert, but opted to go to Fracuccinos because we wanted a quiet space where we didn’t have to yell to hear each other. I wonder if you have considered installing noise dampening tiles on the wall or the ceiling.

Have been here before and once again did not disappoint. Everything was excellent. At this type of eatery (5*) we do not expect our plates to be overflowing (another commenter's criticism about small portions). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Staff friendly. Service great! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a fine dining option.

Great food, Very Italian in style. Dress warm as if by window it’s chilly. Acoustics not great and very echoing with other people’s chatter. Lobster Ravioli was excellent.
