This was a spontaneous reservation for Thanksgiving dinner. My family had never eaten there before and we did not know what to expect. We had checked out the menu prior and were excited with the options and figured we would give it a try for our special occasion. There was six of us and all of us were, very pleased with our selections which ranged from shrimp, short ribs, pasta, and one Thanksgiving meal. I had the Thanksgiving meal and I have to say the turkey was the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back.

We were fortunate to receive a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. To add to our luck, my partner received the baked grouper. Both meals came to our table hot and well prepared. The accompanying dinner rolls were homemade and teeming hot. To cap it all off with a traditional pumpkin pie just made our day. Thank You to the staff at the Daily News.

First time at this restaurant, and it was Thanksgiving. So they were slammed. They were serving their regular menu, and they had a Thanksgiving plate that came with turkey and ham. The turkey, while tasty, looked like a block. A couple of us asked for turkey only, no ham. They didn't increase the amount of turkey on the plate, though, which is what I was hoping for. The turkey dinner was ok, but not delicious. We all agreed we would come back and try their regular menu. Hostess, servers were all very personable, polite and on top of everything. I think this is probably a really good restaurant, but their Thanksgiving offering did not shine. We're going back to try again. This restaurant deserves a second chance.

We went for the first time to Daily News on Thanksgiving. We will definitely go again. The service, food, atmosphere, and service was perfect. It was wonderful and we had a really nice Thanksgiving.

The service was excellent, and the food was good. The only complaint we really had was we asked for the vegetables be well done and they were hard and crunchy.
