Our Carrum Downs Taphouse is open to the public five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday. Enjoy a range of core and limited Dainton releases, as well as a local guest cider, all expertly poured from our 18 custom taps.
Be wowed by our award-winning and unique beers and grab some food from Q-BBQ, serving up real 'low and slow' American wood smoke BBQ

We’ve always got something happening, including Wednesday trivia in the main bar,, special live music & limited edition beer launches
-The Main room is the heart beat of the venue and can get LOUD and rowdy, with Live music and Trivia - great for those looking for a party!
-The Laneway is covered area just off the main room, a lot more chilled and great for those wanting a chat.

Great atmosphere, staff friendly, prices fair for food. QBarbeque meat was amazing, tasty and delicious. You need to be a lover of meat to come here.

I have no idea why you would have the background music so loud. Unsafe working environment for bar and waiting staff. Cannot hold a conversation. When one guest asked to have the music turned down, she was told she should go outside. Very poor response. On a positive note, the food and beer were excellent.

When we arrived there was no staff to greet and take us to our table. Booked for a table and was given a barrel that was in front of a way too loud band. When we did move out side we didn’t get a table number so they had to guess where we were. Good was cold and flavourless and too expensive for what it was. Overall bad atmosphere, shocking service and poor quality food with and extremely loud and bad band.

Hi Jeromie. Its a pity you didn't have a good experience here at Dainton. Saturday was a really busy day, and despite my best efforts to work the door we had 100+ walk-ins for the band When you booked the table in the main bar are it says (LOUD AND LIVLEY) other areas, such as the Laneway are set up for more family dining, it might be worth trying to book in there , or an outside table, which when the weather is good as, I'm sure you discovered the beer garden is great on an evening, rather than the area we make sure to warn people while booking and in any follow up messages about being LOUD. Issues with the food will be passed on to the QBBQ team who run our kitchens I hope you come back to give us another chance if you as for Tommy (me) when you get here I'll do my best for you guys.

No one was at the front of house to welcome us, had to find someone to show us our table we reserved. Meal was out within 10mins we ordered plater, the slaw was missing so staff grabbed it, the slaw was rubbery was grateful it was small portion of slaw as the standard was not what we expected. Our meal cost $59 but for the platter was not value for money. Our drink bourbon was small when I asked for a pint. Expensive for drinks. No jugs of fizzy or anything, would be good to have jugs of drinks available. Overall experience- first time out of 10, would rate it 5

In general we don't sell jugs, our drinks menu is on line if you'd like a closer look, I'm a little confused, did you want a pint of bourbon? Be good to sort this out and hopefully have you back for a better time.

Food was great, service was outstanding, the place itself was great but when live music was on we couldn’t hear each other talking at all

Absolutely amazing food & great value! The food is mouth watering. We have been twice now and we love the atmosphere as there is great music and so many seating options; whether inside or out. The value is literally amazing for the amount of food you get and how incredible it all tastes. I would recommend any and everyone to go here.

The service here was incredible. Between ordering and food arriving, I'd barely even had time to finish a glass of water. It was affordable compared to other restaurants with meat platters, and they tasted delicious! I 100 recommend for big groups or nice nights out with you and your partner!
