Our Carrum Downs Taphouse is open to the public five days a week from Wednesday to Sunday. Enjoy a range of core and limited Dainton releases, as well as a local guest cider, all expertly poured from our 18 custom taps.

We’ve always got something happening, including Wednesday trivia in the main bar,, special live music & limited edition beer launches

We love coming here for trivia but it was very hot and stuffy especially when the window shutter was closed. Is there some other way there could be ventilation especially on the warmer days?

We had booked a table of 6 for a 40th birthday dinner. Although our table had just been made vacant and we arrived early, the server cleaned our table and seated me before my husband could get a drink from the bar. He explained how to use the QR code to order, made sure we were comfortable and brought a high chair to our table. We all agreed that the food was delicious, especially the fussy 40 year old. We have ordered from Q Carrum Downs previously but we found dining in was really pleasant. It was hot but the fan that was situated beside us was very refreshing and the music not too loud that we had to shout at each other. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and may use this venue as our go to restaurant for celebrations. Highly recommended.

Very casual & laid back. Great beer & great food, especially if you're a carnivore. Not so great if you're a vegetarian. Great variety of beer & other drinks.

It was so bloody hot in there . No aircon on at all . Couldn’t really enjoy there beautiful food and great drinks as it was to hot in there

We're a big, industrial building with a tin roof and there's not much we can do about a heatwave apart from open the windows and blast the fans. We have just installed misters in the beer garden, hopefully next time it wont be so hot.

We booked a table on Friday through the app. Upon arriving at the restaurant from driving 45 mins. Walked in , no one to greet us. We waiting for 5 mins at the door. No one acknowledged. We made our way at the back at the bar. We acknowledged ourselves, no one greeted us again. We eventually spoke to a lady , and told her for our booking. Response was : oh we not taking any booking. We stopped at 8 am. Kitchen closed. So , my response for this feedback, driving all the way to the restaurant with a booking confirmation. If you can’t take any booking after 8pm , please cancel it or just us a call and let us know. And no acknowledgment from the door. No one to talk to us. I wasted my petrol and time to drive there. Specially it was a special day dinner. It was a disappointment to turn us back with no explanation or to offer a table even for a drink.

Great atmosphere, staff friendly, prices fair for food. QBarbeque meat was amazing, tasty and delicious. You need to be a lover of meat to come here.

I have no idea why you would have the background music so loud. Unsafe working environment for bar and waiting staff. Cannot hold a conversation. When one guest asked to have the music turned down, she was told she should go outside. Very poor response. On a positive note, the food and beer were excellent.
