   This place has new ownership and we came here last year after they took over. We didn’t like it at all. Shame they didn’t keep the old menu. But I decided to give it a chance. Much improved. Wish there was more of a selection but we both enjoyed the food. Will definitely return.

   Another wonderful experience. The shrimp al ajillo was very good. All three of us chose it and we were not disappointed. We also shared onion rings, which were terrific— a special recipe and presentation. The music performance is a special addition to the ambiance. Another night one of us had rigatoni with shrimp, which was also excellent.

   We’ve been to Daiquiri Dick’s many times and have always enjoyed it. This time the food and the service wasn’t as good.

   Service started strong then increasingly declined. Asked 5 times through three different employees for more water, and had to ask for the check 5 times for no less than 30 minutes until we finally got them. One steak that was ordered rare was medium. All other meals were very good.

   Pleasant setting but service lacking. The food was bad. I ordered a burger medium rare and repeated it twice to the waiter. I got a well done burger and could not alert the waiter as he was missing in action. Ended up eating a tiny bit of it and left the rest. I complained at the end of the meal and was told that our waiter had left as his shift was over. Unacceptable.

   Waited an hour after ordering food before finally being served. No one came to table to check on us. Served raw salmon, they recooked same fish and burnt it. At the end, waiter advised that they were short staff but kept bringing in more and more guests, everyone was waiting a while for food.

   Great ambiance. Music was fantastic. Beautiful place to watch the sunset. And the food is pretty good as well.

    A very average lunch at Daiquiri Dicks!! The Asian chicken salad was good as were the onion rings and grilled corn! Nothing really fabulous to write home about!
