The meal was delicious. However, running out of most drinks asked for was disappointing especially when the change wasn’t a nice drink.

Five of us met for lunch and had the share plates. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. We stayed chatting til 5 but there was no pressure to leave at all. It is beautifully appointed, too, with a lovely ambience. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the special Christmas set menus. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was fantastic with large servings. (We needed to bring desserts home as we were so full from first 2 courses. Very well presented and we will be back to sample the normal menu.

Delicious modern Italian food with great flavours, beautifully presented. Lovely atmosphere, very polite and quick service.

It’s a hidden gem in Dandenong we did not know of its existence. Celebrated my daughter’s graduation with family and I can say from start to end the staff the service the food was amazing .

We stayed at the Holiday Inn and dined in their in house restaurant. Food was tasty, presented well with generous portions. The standout was the outstanding service. The staff at both Holiday Inn and the Dandelion were amazing, so polite and professional. Would not hesitate to go back there again. Also kids eat free if you're staying at the hotel which was a bonus.

Service was poor - had to call on service several times (eg order food, remove plates, see dessert menu). Pricey for a barramundi dish - although the fish was very well cooked, it was a small proportion and overcompensated with too much chips and basic salad.

We booked in for an early dinner before a nearby event and were the second table in there (party of 4). After being seated we had to find someone to take our order as no one came to the table. The server was nice and accommodating but that’s where it finished. Two of the group received their meals while the others waited another 15 mins for their food! Pastas at that. No one checked on us or made eye contact to let us know about the delay and when it finally arrived and we mentioned the delay it was because they had to cook mushrooms!! LOL. The food was bland and very not worth the wait. The chicken schnitzel had some random seasoning on it that made it taste funky. Arancini had no flavour but luckily we had aioli for our chips that we could use to help with that. I will credit them for the lamb burnt ends. They were amazing, hot and tasty. This place has a reasonable menu and potential but needs to focus on stepping up their game. Imagine if it was busy and not a 5pm dinner!!

My partner and I were just looking for a quick place to eat prior to an engagement later in the evening and we were fortunate to have found Dandelion Lounge & Eatery. Very friendly and courteous staff. Food was delicious. Will definitely come back.
