We are an award-winning restaurant with a beautiful waterfront location in Derby. We offer you classic British and European dishes with a modern twist, within a 200-year old former mill building: Darley Abbey Mills.

We also have two outdoor terraces so if you prefer, you can enjoy al-fresco drinks overlooking the River Derwent prior to your dining experience. We’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Darleys creates incredible flavours and stunningly-presented dishes that will delight you, all paired with the perfect wine or cocktail to make your experience complete.

We celebrated our 33.333 wedding anniversary at Darleys and received a hand-written card at our table. The ambience was calm and relaxed, the service excellent and the food delicious. Although the portions appeared small we were well satisfied at the end of the meal, and the flavours were exquisite. Would recommend!

Food and service were incredible. I’ve eaten at many worse Michelin star restaurants every mouthful was a delight, we cooked, balanced and the atmosphere was amazing

Had a sparkling breakfast at Darleys today. We were very impressed with everything from the waiter the food and even the toilets. Would highly recommend this restaurant. The only little complaint is it was a little cool in the restaurant.
