   Wow, what a great new spot for food in south Winnipeg. Menu had lots of great sounding options and the portions were fantastic. Head was on a swivel checking out what the other tables had. We had a Rueben, a Clubhouse, Prime rib burger and the Beet and Goat cheese salad. Everyone really enjoyed it and was full. We've already decided on what to have next time. I did make a reservation and got to skip the wait line so glad I was able to do that. Only downside was the noise level, low ceiling and lots of people make it to noisy to even hear the staff explain the specials. Our server explained she was newer but she did a good job.

   We shared a few dishes: chili fries, beet salad, and crispy brussel sprouts. All delicious. Plus we finished off with apple pie and the affogato desserts. We were both very full, enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, plus service was quick and excellent. Would 100% recommend, and will def be back again!

   This is the 2nd time we have been here. The food everytime has been amazing. A couple of us tried the Boozy Milkshakes OMG they were amazing!!! The Brussel sprouts were outstanding. The portions are huge so be prepared to eat it for lunch. I don't have a bad thing to say. I'm so happy to have a place of this quality and atmosphere so close to home. I do wonder what they would do of they ever took on breakfast... Thanks for being here. I have no dough that this restaurant will be around for many years to come 💕 Crystal

   Excellent service. Food was good but portions were huge. I will go back specifically for the Brussel sprouts but the Smash Burger was also very good. No one in our party could finish their meal so doggie bags were needed. Only con was the noise level. Extremely loud and couldn't hear very well across the table. Would definitely recommend reservations which are done online.

   Great food in suburban setting. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Loved the modern decor , but the space is extremely noisy. Busy yes, but why the customers' voices carried like that was surprising. Definitely not a space for conversation. Our smashburgers were excellent..the food will be my reason to return, not the ambience.

   Although had reservations, we had to get through packed entrance and some people waiting were rude to us. The table was far too small and strange angle for 4 adults. We went and got ourselves a chair from nearby table. The food serving size was small and okay tasting. The waitress did give our daughter a free milkshake so that was very nice.

   We really enjoyed our dining experience at Dave and Laverne’s Diner tonight. All parties in our group of 5 enjoyed their meal. We received quick, efficient and pleasant service and we loved the ambiance. Will go again. 👌

   Interesting place! Music was a bit loud for the demographic in the establishment at 5 PM as a family restaurant, young kids, seniors, etc. perhaps music louder towards late evening? Food was great! I ordered a burger and fries. Could have been more fries….overall very good. Prices are on the higher side if you are watching your wallet. Service was excellent!

   Fantastic experience. Meals are generous so if you are going make sure you are hungry. Boozy Milkshakes were delicious and love the names of the signature cocktails they have.

    Very busy for 1 PM lunch on Thursday. With several people waiting, our reservation was honoured and service was prompt and attentive. The food was well prepared and tasty. Would go again
