Dublin's most famous pub, certainly in a literary sense, with its Joycean associations. Always classy and fashionable. It's the original Dublin gastropub at over 100 years old.
Anybody who is familiar with Dublin pub food will be aware of Davy Byrne’s food reputation, in which seafood is the speciality.
If you visit the premises at lunchtime and evening time, you will witness the huge trade which is done in fresh Seafood, Wagyu Burgers and pub classics like Fish & Chips. There is also a full range of Salads and Sandwiches to compliment these and, as often as not, you can enjoy Oysters and Guinness.
The classic Gorgonzola sandwich with a glass of Burgundy as mentioned in Ulysses is available every day.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate strollers/buggies indoors at Davy Byrnes but subject to availability, we can at our outside terraced area. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We had a lovely dinner in Davy Byrne’s. Food was tasty & there is a good wine selection. Service was pleasant & prices are reasonable for city centre location. We were seated close to the door & that was probably the only downside- it’s a busy spot & we felt the cold breeze fairly regularly. We’ll visit again & ask for a different table. Would definitely recommend.

We are 3 sisters that meet up once a month and Davy Byrnes is our favourite place. Always looked after really well.

Great quality pints of Guinness and knowledgeable bar staff that knew the different vodka Martin types. Friendly service that delivered as required and simple excellent quality wholesome food
