   My fourth time visiting this establishment. I took a girlfriend for her birthday and she enjoyed the food. I was not over the top with my food selection this time around. The salmon croquettes were a bit dry and the mac n cheese was just okay. I had to remind the waitress four times for hot sauce. I will admit that the owner stopping by to make sure that things were okay added a nice touch and I will certainly come back for some of my favorite dishes.

   We'll be back, but never on a weekend, not even as early as 5pm, which worked fine last Saturday. The acoustics with nothing but hard surfaces made our visit for drinks and dinner but mainly conversation truly impossible. We ordered a drink apiece. Normally they'd get to the table in 5-10 minutes. Tonight: 25. Server couldn't get back to the table for our food order until we'd been there 55 minutes: You're seriously understaffed. But we'd given up. The nearby and not-so-near conversations had become so loud that we couldn't hear one another. At one point we found ourselves shouting to be heard, yet still couldn't hear each other's voices. That's miserable. It's nuts. It's no way to get people to come back. We over-tipped when paying for the drinks, left after making plans to give you one more chance on a less busy night of the week, and strolled to a Thai restaurant just over a block away, had a fine meal there and lots of conversation. It would be a shame for you start losing customers because of the miserable, painfully piercing noise levels we experienced. Please add something to your decor that muffles sound. What a shame it would be for such a good food-and-drink program in such an appealing setting to be spurned because no one can enjoy it when the pain of such high decibels is so severe.

   A.M. Dawn was an absolutely delightful dining experience. It was like eating a delicious home cooked meal at your favorite aunt’s house.

   I’ve eaten here twice in the past month and there are still several things on the menu I would like to try. I love this place, and the servers are all so kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

   My husband said that his pot roast and grits was absolutely outstanding. He even ordered a second one to go for tomorrow’s breakfast! The buttermilk biscuits were fluffy and you could taste the butter milk flavor. I ate delicious, blueberry pancakes that actually had the freshest and most juiciest blueberries I’ve ever seen in a pancake. The batter was absolutely delicious and the coffee was piping hot and flavorful.
