I booked for Valentine’s Day evening through OpenTable. There was no mention at all of a Valentine’s Day menu, but that’s what we found when we arrived. Several other tables around us complained about the same thing. It wasn’t possible to order anything other than this £45/p three course menu (including a glass of Prosecco). It was disappointing having such a limited choice (3 starter options, 3 mains, 2 desserts) and being forced to pay £45 each for it. The food was ok but definitely not worth the price. Both starters were tasty. Lamb chops were cooked perfectly, but served with a strange gloopy mash. As we couldn’t order another vegetable side from the main menu, the two small pieces of courgette really felt insufficient. Chocolate fondant was disappointing: not at all runny and essentially supermarket quality.

Staff were friendly and helpful, but it was very busy and tight in the restaurant and when we arrived under staffed, so things took a little longer initially. Some food was very nice, some just okay, some portions pretty small, others okay. The tiramisu was pleasant but not like a tirimisu. It was pretty expensive and the staff were very good at encouraging ordering more, beers arrived before actually ordered and we got one extra portion of a starter (possibly miscommunication). I don't think it was genuine Italian, had a few European / random spins. It was just alright but didn't reflect the ratings on here and Google.

This is a gem! The food and service were just outstanding and certainly worth discovering. There are so many delicious options so try lots of different dishes! We booked an outdoor table as it was a warm balmy evening but the traffic is a little heavy outside and noisy so would be indoors next time. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent service—we were welcomed warmly and taken care of the entire evening. There was a lot of love put into the food as well. Highly recommend.

really lovely neighbourhood restaurant off away from the chains and touristy tat of Camden Town. Lovely staff and ambience. Would highly recommend
