   Upon entry, the ambience was just what you would expect for a perfect date night. We ordered cocktails that were delicious. Everything that I ordered ended up being sold out. I went until the fourth item and I just decided to go with the truffle mac & cheese with the added lobster. It was phenomenal! I added some buffalo sauce to it, and it took it to an even greater level! After trying a bite of my date’s salmon, I asked if they had any available. To my surprise they did! But unfortunately, after a few bites, I found out that it was undercooked in the middle. Our server was great and he was embarrassed to see that after so many attempts to order that the one thing that I was set on came out undercooked. He said “It just wasn’t our night.” I understand that it was a busy weekend. I just tried to make the most out of it even though it was far from the experience that I expected. Maybe next time I’m in Fort Worth I will give it another try. But it is as our server said, it just wasn’t their night, hence the low rating

   Yikes. Today was not their day. We've been to DFG many times and, hands down, this was our worst experience. Our last seated guest ordered a mimosa; 20 minutes later it still hadn't come so when the server asked us about it, the guest asked to switch to coffee instead. The manager came by and said he'd get the mimosa, which she declined. When the food was served, one guest was presented with french toast, instead of the french dip breakfast sandwich. It was obviously sent back as a mistake (no problem), but then they brought her french onion soup. Again, we asked for the corrected meal, which was expedited but still received after the rest of the group had finished their meals. Since we were leaving for a show at the Bass, she only had time to eat half of her meal so asked for a to-go bag. While waiting for that, someone dropped off a to-go sack with a box inside. Confused, we looked at it, and it was leftover dessert for the table nearby. The manager offered us complimentary desserts, which they agreed to let us come pick up after the show. The server was apologetic but basically told us not to come during a holiday weekend, since they were all tired from working 16 hour shifts over Valentine's Day. Let's just say if it were our first time, we probably wouldn't be back, since it was lackluster at best. Interestingly, it was also pretty dead, so I guess no one was really invested. Better luck next time?

   It was a cold night but the porch seating was nice and warm! Loved the atmosphere and the service!

   First time at Del Frisco’s Grille and it was a positive experience. We have been to Del Frisco’s Double Eagle many times and we enjoyed the ambience of the Grille as a change of pace.

   All in all our experience was pretty solid the only complaint we had was our waiter kept forgetting something I asked him for when we ordered our drinks and we waited almost 45mins to an hour before receiving our dinner other than that our food was delicious and well worth the visit.

   I have been to many many restaurants and expected higher end food. This was Valentine's Day and I will give a slight leaning due to the mass amount of customers present for the evening. But this was one of the least enjoyable meals I have ever had. The double eagle steakhouse is amazing. However my food temp was less than desired cool compared to the appropriate serving temp. Salmon overcooked definitely well done vs medium. Which means they pulled off the salmon probably at correct time but the dish and sides were sitting waiting too long to be served. The drink I had was very good. However food vs the cost was not worth it.

   Food was good. A miss on food temperature of my wife's strip steak, but they offered to correct and she declined - it was still enjoyable for her. Mine was cooked to temp and delicious. Reservation time vs seating time had a 20 minute variance, but it was Valentine's Day so that was expected. Our server was attentive. We were seated upstairs toward the rear. Side dish was the mac w/added lobster and the mash potatoes. Lobster was a little dry and the mash were a little rich but not bad - we would order both again. Finally, the drinks ee had were "perfect margaritas". They were OK, but we've had perfect before and these were not quite there. Overall, a 7 out of 10 for us. We would return.
