   The food was awesome and the service was great. The people who parked the cars even hustled and were super on service.

   Classic old school Italian restaurant, recipes unchanged for decades. The only issues encountered were slow service to take order (sat for 30 minutes without having ordered any food of any sort) and the place was very warm and bright. The service picked up after other tables left and the temperature adjusted down as well, but still was very bright. Overall I’ll be back as it was a good experience! Delicious food and chocolate tort was awesome.

   Such great food (has been for the 55+ years I’ve been dining there!) Saw some old friends, met some new ones. Always warm and welcoming. Thank you Bill Connie Dennis Barbara!! xoxox It’s our home away from home!

   Wonderful traditional Italian restaurant with a huge menu. Recommend the short ribs and veal Modenese.

   This fabulous charming deeeelishous Del Rios restaurant continues to be one of our favorites in Highwood … The FOOD yum …from the warm bread to our main entre to the refreshing dessert all were wonderful ….oh my we were greeted by the owner and his wife Our server Cynthia was beyond eeeeficient the waitstaff was great the niece of the owner came over to chat …can’t wait to return. Oh yes you always get a special pen to keep lol lol we have his flashlight pen and this time we received a pen that can rest your cell phone… can’t wait for his outdoor venue to open AND he has jazz and opera some nites to entertain you DEL RIOS is a gem !

    The food was wonderful and flavorful. The wait staff was great. It was pricey and I was surprised that the decor probably hadn’t been updated in decades. And we noticed that everybody dining there was over 45. It was the most gray-haired people I’ve seen in one place.
