   My husband and I went to Delara Restaurant last night, and we loved everything about it. The food had completely Iranian flavors but in a totally different version from what we’ve had all our lives. Both the appetizers and the main course Lamb Shank, which we ordered were absolutely delicious. The drinks were excellent, the service was quite good, and the staff were respectful and efficient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for us.

   The food was good but considering how expensive it was, the service did not match. It wasn’t that busy and the waitress didn’t really check up on the table and ended up forgetting a tea which we just cancelled because we were leaving.

   The food is awesome, I want to go back and try everything. Even down to the olives, 10/10 smokey, umami olives. A charming spot as well, the interior is pretty and fresh—a really cute spot for dinner or drinks (but you have to try the food). Can't wait to go again!

   Went there for Happy Hour and absolutely enjoyed everything ordered. Persian Godfather (cocktail) was heavenly. The cauliflower dish was tasty. Fantastic value. Will definitely go back again. We were kind of "kicked out" though in the sense that the waiter wanted to seat a new reservation at our table AFTER we had paid. I understand their concern, but we still had another 10 minutes on parking and were hoping to just sit for a tad bit longer, so we wouldn't waste the extremely expensive parking. I hope this doesn't happen next time.

   Flavourful but not overpowering dishes! Loved the lentils and rice bowl + the chicken with crispy rice + the meatballs. Baklava was the best dessert ever with the perfect tart cream on side. Saffron ice cream was disappointing but an interesting flavour. The vibes were perfect and we got a lot of natural light. Would come again for sure!

   The food was amazing. I never had much experience with Persian food, although I do love Mediterranean food. I was so happy to have had this experience. The restaurant is beautiful! We started with the smoked olives (DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS AMAZING APPETIZER!) then for mains we got the duck fesenjoon and the braised beef and holy smokes they were amazing. Such complex yet perfectly balanced flavours, excellent textures and meat cooked perfectly. For dessert we got the saffron ice cream. It was pretty but the texture of the ice cream was meh, and I wasn't too into the flavour. It might just not be for me. For drinks we got the pomegranate margarita and sour cherry negroni and I would recommend both but moreso the pomegranate margarita. Service was great and everything came out pretty quickly as well.

    The waitresses kept rushing us and reminding us that we have to leave by 7pm. Our reservation was for 5.15 and it was for a group of 6. With the 3 course meal bein mandatory, there was just not enough time and the staff were not friendly at all. I love this restaurant and my previous experience have always been great but this was a disappointment in comparison. Chef Bardia is a great guy and I am sure this is an oversight but the server offering to get our deserts to go because there not enough time was just plain rude. The restaurant had plenty of empty tables too and I know for a fact that this is not how restaurants manage their tables.
