   We have been coming to the restaurant since its opening in 1998, me as recently as last October. We felt the kitchen has never been better. We shared anchovies with butter on toast, the spaghetti pomodoro (perfectly executed and still justifying its legend), the pesce del giornio (a 2 pound American snapper) and the insalata di campo (well sourced lettuces and on point dressing). An interesting red from Piemonte. Warm, well informed, attentive service. Still one of our very favorite restaurants anywhere. Will continue to be a highlight of any San Francisco visit. Already anticipating our next meal here.

   My husband and I celebrated our Valentine’s Day here. The night was busy but the service was fast. Everyone was super friendly and the food was delicious. Strongly recommend the short rib for two. We will definitely come back to try more dishes!

   Love Delfina's. I have been going there since they originally open some 20-odd years ago. Has always been great and still is. The spaghetti pomodoro and panna cotta are two specialty items!

   Loved it!! My first time there. From when I walked in Derek was so accommodating and the food and the server was super attentive!! Top notch restaurant. Everything was above average. The bread, the pasta tagliatelle, warm castelvetrano olives , monterey bay calamari and the salad and the fish served whole and those butter beans oohlala! Great establishment speaks volumes about why it’s been successful for so long! I’ll be back for sure!!

   We usually have a good experience here but last night we had 2 servers and one was not interested in us at all and the other was 50/50. Food was good except the risotto which was incredibly over salted. We won’t be back in while.

   Fantastic meal at Delfina. We had the octopus, deviled eggs, anchovy toast, red snapper, and the Bottone pasta. Every dish was fantastic. Really looking forward to our next visit!
