   My husband and I had the loveliest meal at Delfina. The food is always good but the service hit it out of the park. They moved us from outside to inside when it was too cold for us. And when they accidentally threw away the remainder of our salad that we asked to box up - they made us a new salad to go. Delfina fires on all cylinders from back of house to front of house.

   We sat outside in the parklet but were well wrapped up and it was fine. Tagliatelle and the Bottone were incredible as were the Peay wines which were being poured by the Peay family. Had a taste of the short rib too.. amazing. It was a special meal and thanks to Craig and crew for making it so.

   Delfina is an SF icon for a reason. They continue to deliver incredible food in a great, lively atmosphere. Our table shared duck ciccioli, grilled octopus, gorgonzola leeks vinaigrette, short rib stew, goat cheese and chanterelle pasta, some warm olives, and gratin potatoes - all of them amazing. Go.

   We enjoyed my third time. The frisse walnut salad amazing! The pizza super! The sea bass was perfect.

   After years of getting takeout pizzas from Delfina, I tried their dining room and excellent dinner menu on my own several weeks ago. It was such a great experience (ambience, food, wine, and top notch service by Nyah) that I brought my wife back for a date. Luckily Nyah was our server again! She has great instincts for just the right amount of engagement with each customer, and her overall craft is superb. My understanding is she learned that craft at Delfina, so kudos to the management and staff for the training and standards they set in service. While we waited for our table, the bartender took care get find the right glass of wine suited to my taste. The menu was quite different from my previous visit, and just as delicious. We had a pretty late reservation, so a few items had run out, but that’s not unusual. Delfina shines on all the things we enjoy when dining out. We have a new fave in our rotation now.

   Delfina never disappoints! Except this time it did. The kitchen ran out of regular and vegan pizzas on a Friday night. Not the end of the world—the pasta is amazing—but we were craving pizza. So yeah. Other than that, everything was exceptional!

    Had an excellent dinner at Delphina, Mission district , with my spouse and a guest visiting from Zuerich. We were seated promptly and received great service throughout in very comfortable surroundings. The restaurant noise level was moderate and was conducive to effortless conversation. Food presentation and taste were outstanding. Value was good.
