Located at the corner of Market Street & Clarence Street in the heart of Sydney CBD, Devine is Sydney's oldest wine bar/restaurant. It’s just a short stroll from the QVB, State Theatre, and Town Hall.

The Spot for Great Food and Wine
Devine offers a selection of cicchetti, Italian-inspired à la carte dishes, and an excellent wine-by-the-glass list. Known for its popular lunches and after-work eats, it’s the go to place to relax. Whether you’re sinking into the comfortable banquettes or sitting up at the bar with share plates, Devine offers a welcoming atmosphere.
A Delicious Start
Kick things off with freshly shucked Sydney Rock Oysters, zucchini flowers, or an artisan salumi board. From there, try one of the daily house-made pastas, market-fresh fish, or the must-try Wagyu Steak.

A bit loud noises due to crowd on Friday night but the ambiance and food are amazing. Portions are little. I am giving 2 star as i made booking reason for birthday and guess what? No birthday wish or cake! But the opposite tables were getting it. A little experience could have made it much better. Overall good!

Hi Sonu, thank you for dining with us. I am a little confused with your review. The ambiance is amazing, food amazing but only a rating of 3? As for the birthday cake, we cannot assume you wanted something if you don't ask for it? We are only too happy to place candles on a dessert that you organise, which is what was done by the other table. Bad experience? Really?

Un choix de vin parfait ça c’est clair et de très bons conseils. Helena aux petits soins et le staff au top également. Polpette extras, carpaccio de Wagyu étonnant et délicieux, les Vongole géniales. Petit Canoli pour finir j’aurais bien testé un autre dessert mais plus la place ! Merci on a adoré. On reviendra !

We dined at DeVine on a Tuesday evening, and were seated in the back room. There were a few large party tables back there, so the noise level was quite high. Service felt rushed and impersonal. The food was just OK, the fish was overcooked and the polenta chips were greasy. The ravioli was good. The red wine I ordered was too warm, the room itself felt too warm, may be the reason fir the warm wine. Maybe they were having a bad night, IDK.

From the minute we walked in until we left, the staff was phenomenal and warm and the food was superb! Highly recommend

My daughter & I went to De Vine after friends dined there and said how good it was. The restaurant is small, so definitely book a table, but has a wonderful & cosy ambience. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. Also has a long and fabulous wine & drinks list.

Great food, loved the beef carpaccio, the wagyu brisket pasta and the tiramisu. The service was also top notch
