Made reservation for my wife's birthday..realized I had more people coming than opentable allowed to book online. Called the restaurant-no problem... oh and bring your own cake they said. We showed up and restaurant wasn't busy so they easily accomodated adding a table .. but that was where the good stopped. I ended up having to be the host since the wait staff provided few menus, were not around for questions and then wanted the menus back before everyone arrived! We ordered appetizers but the restaurant had no chutney...they said they were out (even with an Indian grocery next door)! The main courses were all sauce and very little meat. The wait staff was very impersonal and hard to find. I had to remind the waiter that I had dropped off a cake... which they brought out still in the box with the candles on top in the container...at least they provided a lighter..but I had to ask for a knife! The plastic plates and plastic spoons that they provided to eat the cake with cheapened the experience. Net-net... don't go there for a bday or anniversary party. I was also very disappointed with the service and food. I had eaten there at least 6 or 7 times before... but won't be going back.

We made a reservation for 8 people prior to arriving. When arriving we were told there was no dosa, only a few idly left and no other South Indian food remaining. The waiter seemed overwhelmed and told us he couldn't help us. We couldn't comprehend how a South Indian restaurant didn't have South Indian food. The waiter was rude and flippant about us asking what was available. My family was visiting from DC where they are Indian Restaurant owners themselves. We were absolutely disappointed that no one at the restaurant seemed to care they were "out of food," but more importantly no one took pride in the food they were supposed to have served. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how the food was because we never got to the point of ordering it. We went down the street to a competitor restaurant.

The food was very good and we got to try some Indian specialties that we had never had before. The bread basket of different naans was a great deal. It was nice to be able to bring home some leftovers to have the following day. My only complaint is that they didn't have any of the IPAs or craft beers that were on the menu. They only seem to carry Indian beer and the big national brands, eg. Bud, etc.

You know it’s good authentic Indian food when most of the clientele are Indian folks.

Food was OK, service was slow and disorganized. Floors were slippery, almost to the point of dangerous. They did not seem wet, just slippery. There are so many Indian restaurants in this area, no reason to return to one that is just OK.

Needed a place to hang out and eat with family after a connection at RDU during Friday rush hour. Missed all the bad traffic and had a wonderful, comforting meal. Very friendly staff. I hope to go back again soon.

We went for Sunday lunch buffet. I am Indian & a foodie. Going to a restaurant that advertises as South Indian, I would expect to at least see idli & medu wada served on the buffet if they cannot serve dosa or uttappam. But none of the traditional South Indian fare was offered. Their goat curry & biryani was very good though. Service had a lot of room for improvement. It was a crowded place, we were shown to a table where we set down our purses & sunglasses and went to get food. When we returned, they had given away our table and moved our stuff to another table !!
