Located on Spring St, opposite the Treasury Gardens, between Collins St and Flinders Lane, there emerges a truly unique space – imagined, created, curated – that lies at the nexus of all the Di Stasio energies that have come before it. Cittá is a culmination of sorts, a vibrant dynamic next step along a continuum of a challenge and of notions Rinaldo has been grappling with all his life. This is not only a commercial venture – though of course, he has never retreated from this aspect – but is also a vehicle to express and bring together all the aspects of Italo-Australian history, culture, place and heritage. It is an opportunity too to bring a long-standing dream to further fruition, celebrating Rinaldo’s influence on the Australian hospitality, cultural and artistic landscape, through a renewed celebration of Melbourne and the CBD where it all began and of his beloved spiritual and familial home, Italy.

A fabulous dining experience from start to finish for our table of six. The staff were helpful and attentive and everyone enjoyed their choices. We will make a return most definitely.

Loved the ambience in this restaurant, so much fun, and the staff are so attentive and warm. The food is exceptional, loved it all! Note the music and big screen projection, super fun experience alongside dinner.

Service has deteriorated from its once great early days. It misses a matrede who “owns” the room. Welcomes guests, makes sure the room sparkles

What can I say,excellent staff and food and service and with Guy Grossi discreetly seated, this screams a quality restaurant. We live four hours north of Melbourne, near the NSW boarder and always plan our visit to Melbourne around our booking at Di Stasio. Wouldn't miss it. We enjoy quality food and wine and when you are spending a little more it is never a disappointment. This is the complete package from the time you enter your whole experience is fantastic. The staff are always attentive and informative and make you feel at home. Our lovely attendant who has been at Di Stasio for many years is always bright and chatty. She is beautiful to look at and always has a smile on her face. An absolute pleasure to see. Unfortunately I forget her name. The chefs do a great job. The food is fantastic and the taste is amazing. Congratulations to the whole team for your amazing everything. Will see you on our next visit.
