We strive to serve exquisite food and give excellent service. Dillard's specializes in traditional American steakhouse fare including Filets, New York Strips, Ribeye's, Wagyu, and more. Our side dishes range from Lobster Macaroni and Cheese to Garlic Smashed Potatoes, and are portioned to be shared with others at your table. The wine list is both exceptional and unique to this town as we tend to find wines that other dining establishments haven’t yet discovered. Upon our arrival no one was there to greet customers,after running down an employee to check-in for our reservation we were told all reservations were cancelled as the whole restaurant had been booked for larger groups! I received no email,phone call or text message to inform me of the cancellation.

This establishment had over reserved the restaurant. When we arrived, our reservation was not honored as they said they had a large group coming. We were seated at the bar and they were so busy there was hardly any service. The food was okay but took forever. Maybe it was just a bad night but given it was in a Marriott hotel I was very disappointed.

Our hostess and server, Smooth, was dynamic. Or was disappointing that you ran out of filet, burgers and salmon.

Short on staff so poor service - our server was working hard. Slow to order. Expensive steak was cold on arrival. Side item was cold. A waste of money

Had reservation for 6 pm before the 8 pm basketball game at Legacy Arena. Showed up at 5:55 pm and they had no waiters and were told that we wouldn’t be able to be seated for 30-60 min which obviously wouldn’t work. We ended up going down the street. My suggestion to the restaurant is get off of Open Table and close the doors until you get your staff together. You are doing yourself more harm than good.

We had reservations at 5:45. We got there exactly 5:45 and we were told we had at least a 45 minute wait to get a table. They only had two cooks in the back two bartenders and one server and it was the night of a Broadway in Birmingham show. Supposedly the whole entire staff walked out, and that was all that was left to run the restaurant. So we ordered salads the quickest thing to eat and some french fries and lobster mac & cheese and we all just threw it in the middle of the table and ate family style. We were told if we ordered a steak it could be at least an hour before they even brought our food out. We didn’t have an hour we had a show to get to. It was an absolute fiasco. I might try it again once they have a full staff again. I know the one in Tuscaloosa is fabulous so I was just hoping Birmingham’s would be too.

Waited to be seated for over 10 minutes, the restaurant was vacant. Once seated at a dirty table and noticed the menu was nothing like advertised. An embarrassing restaurant Not worth your time
