Dino’s Steak and Claw has an incredible menu and amazing ambiance working in its favor. You can find it in the historic Grapevine area of Dallas. It is in a vintage bank building, and once through the doors, you’ll immediately notice that much of its classic look remains intact.

Of course, you’ll soon be busy with the menu at Dino’s Steak and Claw. As the name suggests, this restaurant is all about surf and turf. However, there is also plenty of poultry to be enjoyed too. We’ve dined at Dino’s several times. Service is usually excellent and food is normally off the hook. However tonight was an absolute terrible night. I’m not sure if we had a new server or if it was just an off night. He failed to mention any of the specials or any signature cocktails. We had to ask for refills more than once and when he did refill them they were only 3/4 of the way full. I waited over 20 minutes for my lemon drop which I can understand, it was a very busy Saturday night. However, he didn’t even come over to let me know what was taking so long or apologize for the wait. I honestly started to believe he just forgot to put in the drink. Food wasn’t as good as normal. I ordered the sea bass and it was very good however our steak was over done, the scallops were very rubbery and our kiddos chicken was nothing but crusty (I’m not upset about the chicken lol. It’s not a kid place to begin with!) I am the most understanding person. I’ve worked fine during food industry for over 10 years. I get it and always always tip well. However, waiting for a check for 20 minutes and having to ask for refills isn’t okay. Especially when we’re paying this much money. No apology. No “how is your food” nothing! I don’t know when our next trip to Dinos will be. One bad night won’t make us give up but we will certainly be looking for new places for our date night.

Great martini’s! Scallops were great but didn’t care for mayo sauce on them. Lobster bisque was amazing. Chicken was good but sauce a little too sweet like pancake syrup. Crab claws and shrimp cocktail was amazing as well! Victoria was great!

We normally love dining here, but tonight wasn’t great. My husband and I shared the bone-in ribeye and we were not impressed. It tasted like sirloin from a grocery store. I will say though the lobster bisque was phenomenal as always and we reserved good service.

Ate there as a group the first time for a celebratory dinner. Steaks and seafood were well cooked and seasoned. Service was excellent. We were able to take our time to enjoy our meal. Cappuccino and shared desserts at our table - chocolate mousse cake, creme brulee, and key lime pie. Delicious! Our server Jordan did a phenomenal job keeping glasses filled and empty plates removed. This is a hidden gem in Grapevine, TX.
