District South Kitchen & Craft is a neighborhood restaurant and bar in South Tampa, centrally located between St. Petersburg and Downtown Tampa.

We offer brunch every Saturday and Sunday, with a menu featuring signature dishes like the DS Smash Burger, Coconut Grouper Bites, and house-made Meatloaf.

Our inviting atmosphere is complemented by a pet-friendly outdoor dining area, perfect for enjoying a meal in the open air.

Due to the size and capacity of our restaurant, we offer a 15-minute grace period for reservations. To ensure a smooth dining experience, table time limits are enforced based on party size:

1-2 guests: 75 minutes
3-4 guests: 90 minutes
5-7 guests: 120 minutes
7+ guests: 150 minutes

It was our first time going there and it far exceeded expectations. Our server was thorough and the food was outstanding. Great date night place. Got the oysters, shishito peppers and 12 oz NY strip cooked to perfection. Will def be back! I felt prices were reasonable too.

Outstanding food and very friendly service. I also loved my cocktail. Will definitely come back on my next trip to Tampa.

Always great food and the drinks are on point! Very attentive wait staff and great bartenders! Would highly recommend!!

A great spot with a warm neighborhood feel, elevated food created by a gifted chef, a nice wine list, and solid cocktails.

Great food and such a fun place. Definitely the neighborhood “Cheers” The bartenders are great and really know how to make a drink. Don’t forget happy hour or your favorite ball game. They have also done some great catering for me.

Can’t speak more highly of this place. The service was fast, the food was outstanding and the ambiance was everything you could want from a sit down restaurant. Their Monsterella Stick was the showstopper of the night and their sandwiches could not be anymore flavorful. Will definitely be back!

Tried some of the more decadent food here. Their special mozzarella log was tasty and massive, but really needed more sauce than what it came with. More than enough for four people. Way bigger than it needs to be but at least it was good mozzarella. Would have been nice to have also come with a basil oriented sauce too but the little bit of tomato sauce it sat on was certainly decent. Wedge salad was excellent. Most salads I have had here are really good. The fries that came with the prime rib melt were excellent although a bit over salted for my taste. Sandwich was very tasty and large albeit a little bit messy with the internal horseradish sauce. Very good though. However my eye was caught by the massive burger and gargantuan ‘ crabby patty’ sandwiches going to other tables. Will return to try those the next time and hopefully will not have eaten anything substantial all day so I can properly tackle those. Beer selection has definitely improved with several great choice but not impressed with the cheap wines at overly high prices. Server was extremely pleasant and patient and had a nice sense of humor. I’ve had desserts here previously and those were excellent. Overall a good experience and I definitely will return to try more items.
