Yesterday was our 3rd or 4th time dining at dLena and this time was our least favorite experience because of the seating. Our reservation was for 5:45pm so we arrived at a time that wasn't very crowded yet the patrons that were there were packed side by side at tables that were so close together we mind as well have been dining with the strangers that were seated on either side of us. It was almost impossible to have a meaningful conversation with my husband without trying to talk over the strangers next to us. In the past, I have enjoyed the upscale ambiance along with the food, which has kept us returning, but this time had made me second guess any future visits. The food was good though.

We made a reservation for the restaurant, but our goal was to make it down to the Roja Lounge. It's first come first serve and a smaller space, but we were eager to try it. The tequila and mezcal selection was very interesting and we were looking forward to try some of their cocktails or even a flight. Turns out, we were intrigued by the Mexican wines so we didn't do any cocktails! My husband did try a Mezcal that he really enjoyed. We ended up just ordering appetizers and were very full. Our favorite were the wagyu beef empanadas. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was a Sunday night and there was live music. By the time we left at 7pm the place was popping!

The food was delicious! Our waitress seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but there, and would leave abruptly whenever she came over without giving us a chance to complete our order. My friend ordered the steak and eggs dish, which comes in a heavy hot plate, and the food runner basically threw it in her hands and the toppings fell on her lap.

We had an amazing experience at dLeña. The service was excellent, as was the food. We had a wonderful bottle of Sauvignon blanc and some cocktails. The grilled oysters were out of this world. The seafood enchiladas were also amazing. My boyfriend got the ribeye and said it was great.

Visited for the all you can eat brunch and welcomed by courteous staff in a beautiful setting. The value is amazing as plenty of food is provided! Next time I will be sure to state which items I do not need/want! Definitely will be back! Only con was a large table for birthday party that impacted the ambience and noise drastically.

Mike our waiter was awesome! Made the experience even better. Super knowledgeable of the pairings of bottomless brunch food and very calm demeanor. Also consistently checked in with us. Thank you so much dLeña. What a beautiful restaurant, in every aspect! Blown away

It was good, not great. Beautiful restaurant and very nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the bottomless brunch experience but not my favorite in DC.

Although it was Valentine’s Day and they were very busy, the service, food, and ambiance were all excellent. We got our table right on time, so everything was well organized. The food was delicious, the waitstaff was very helpful, and we truly enjoyed the experience.
