First time visiting. The oysters were fresh, succulent, and served with a delicious mignonette and spicy cocktail sauce. Wife had the salmon (perfectly cooked) and my gumbo and braised greens tasted like New Orleans. Jake, the server, made helpful suggestions and was appropriately attentive. Will be back next time we’re in Louisville.

We had a large group and were easily accommodated with great service and quick food delivery time! The food and drinks were delicious. Well-priced too!

Ordered a Cesar Salad. That was $11.00 Ordered salmon to go on top of it, just the salmon was $16.00 Cost of the salad.. $27.00 Unreasonable.

The host was terrible. Sat us at the worst table in the place between the bathroom and the kitchen when the place was empty. Made a reservation and specified it was a special occasion for a Birthday. Nobody even mentioned the birthday. Waited 15 minutes for a drink from the bar and the place was very empty. Half slab of ribs with one side was $27. Over priced. The cod had thick greasy batter and was a dark brown. They need to change their oil. The greens were so spicy hot my daughter couldn’t eat them. I like spicy food and I couldn’t eat them. I told the waiter the menu needed a warning if you’re going to serve food that hot. She took them off the tab then charged me for the mashed potatoes with would have been the one side. Had to send the bill back again for the correction. The owner manager needs to step in and train the staff. If you want to change premium prices then you need to deliver premium service and food. I can say this will be my last time here. They should take lessons from The Riverhouse.

Our food was good. Waitress was prompt in refilling our drinks and asking if we needed anything else.

Our server was VERY rude and clearly didn’t want to be working. Other servers around our table were very attentive to their guests. The food was just ok. The brisket was very fatty and disappointing. The Mac and cheese side was delicious. Cornbread was dry.

Service was HORRIBLE. We sat at 10:00AM on Sunday morning. We were a party of 8. Only two other tables, a party of two and a party of three. We waited almost 1.5 hr to be served our food. Only 5 meals were served. The other 3 never made it to our table. Of the 5 meals served, 3 were wrong. The manager finally got the remaining 3 orders out, 2 of which were wrong but we accepted them because we didn’t want to wait any longer. Most of what we received tasted good. Some was cold. Manager comped the entire meal but man what a disappointing last meal on our way out of town.
