Located on the waterfront where Granville Island faces the city, guests can enjoy panoramic views across False Creek to the world-famous cityscape of Yaletown and beyond to the mountains of the North Shore.

The open dining room is relaxed yet refined, wrapped in spectacular floor to ceiling windows, while the lounge offers warm intimate surroundings for evening cocktails.

The award-winning seasonal patio (patio closed October to March) catches sunlight from morning to afternoon and is an oasis of calm, disturbed only by the occasional sound of boats making their way along False Creek.

    My wife and I had a great dining experience. The ambience is fantastic. The views are spectacular (and we live in Vancouver and see them all the time). The food was superb and I must say that our server (Laura) was exceptional. We would highly recommend a night out at Dockside - get to Granville Island an hour or so early and take an enjoyable stroll through the market and around the perimeter walk - and then enjoy your meal!!

    My friend and I enjoyed a relaxing Christmas luncheon at the Dockside today. She had the Cobb salad and I had the chicken sandwich both of which were perfect. Then the piece de resistance, the chocolate mousse with a caramel centre. Yum personified. Our wait person was Laurie, a long time favourite of ours, who always gives excellent service. He is friendly and really cares about his patrons. We look forward to our next meal at Dockside.

    I am on a very restricted diet and I could still find a dish I could enjoy. So happy. My dining companions are found their entrees to their liking. Nice selection on the menu. Excellent service from Laurie. Sunny day outside enhanced the view of the marina. Overall, a great time. Thank you.

    Tyler our waiter was absolutely amazing! He gave recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was outstanding and the right portion size. Please tell Tyler his Tickety Boos love him!

    Made reservation for our 10 year anniversary and they did not acknowledge it at all. The service was poor as no one checked in our table after we received our food. My steak was over cooked and the portions were to small

    Service was very slow. Some waitresses did not about their available wines or house wines. We had to ask for our food order to be taken. Everything regarding service was slow and delayed. Food was not cooked well. We probably will not return - although the ambience is really nice.

    Brunch at Dockside exceeded my expectations! My daughter and I visited for the Eras Tour and it was a magical addition to our trip. The views are fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Hands down the best Hollandaise sauce I've ever had! We even made some friendship bracelets in the lobby and the staff was so kind to bring us more beads and supplies. Dockside and Granville Island Hotel are a must for any trip to Vancouver. I'm planning my return trip with my husband already!
