The award winning Coach House Tea Room at Doddington Hall offers an exquisite Afternoon Tea experience that promises to be a treat for everyone. With an array of options, it's a perfect setting for indulging in a leisurely afternoon with friends or loved ones.

Delight in a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, Hambleton’s special breed pork sausage roll, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam accompanied by an array of famous Doddington cakes and sweet treats with the option of additional extras and upgrades.

Choose sittings from; 12.00pm, 12.30pm, 2.30pm or 3.00pm.

Please note that your table is available for 1.5 hours from your booking time. We recommend pre-booking online to avoid disappointment. Walk-ins subject to availability.

                                                              Fantastic afternoon tea, was very busy but to be expected as it was the weekend and a Christmas special tea. Excellent service and delicious food. Will definitely visit again. Had a little doggy bag to take home the leftover yummy cakes. All the staff were very friendly and attentive and my husband and I had a very nice afternoon visiting the Hall afterwards to see the decorations.

                                                              My friend and I have been for afternoon tea today to celebrate her birthday. We have been before and as usual we thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were excellent. Only fault I would say was the scones were slightly over baked.

                                                              Fantastic service and much improved room ambiance with the addition of a stunning Christmas tree in the centre of the room and tablecloths on all the tables this year Excellent service and food , only very slight niggle was the trestle style circular new tables are awkward for 2 of the 4 people sitting at them as the support legs are in the way so you have to sit either wonky or straddling the supports. Great treat as always

                                                              Beautiful afternoon tea. The room was beautifully festively decorated! The waitress listened to all our requests with the afternoon tea, nothing was too much trouble. She also came back to ask if we needed more tea/coffee which was lovely too. I think some christmas carols/music in the background would have made it extra special.
