The award winning Coach House Tea Room at Doddington Hall offers an exquisite Afternoon Tea experience that promises to be a treat for everyone. With an array of options, it's a perfect setting for indulging in a leisurely afternoon with friends or loved ones.

Delight in a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, Hambleton’s special breed pork sausage roll, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam accompanied by an array of famous Doddington cakes and sweet treats with the option of additional extras and upgrades.

Choose sittings from; 12.00pm, 12.30pm, 2.30pm or 3.00pm.

Please note that your table is available for 1.5 hours from your booking time. We recommend pre-booking online to avoid disappointment. Walk-ins subject to availability.

                                                              We were at Doddington Hall and the room we were in was large and well decorated with many lights and a large Christmas tree and welook out to a layer of genuine snow, it looked so Christmassy. We were well looked after and served with a super Cream Tea. It was delicious.

                                                              The coach house was decorated for Christmas, so a lovely atmosphere. Tables well spaced apart. Staff attentive but not intrusive. A lovely, leisurely afternoon tea.

                                                              Couldn’t fault anything. Would be nice to offer more chutney, mayonnaise, coleslaw. We had savoury tea and asked for more chutney as would have been dry to eat all.

                                                              Average afternoon tea nothing food wise made it feel special in fact it was no where near the £30 each mark! The scone was rubbery and the sandwiches had a mean filling in my opinion …. Good points were the environment and pleasant music.

                                                              All of the cakes in the traditional afternoon tea contained nuts and the alternatives offered were not very inspiring.

                                                              I was bought a voucher for afternoon tea as a gift, so pleased with the venue and that we had waited until November as the room was decorated and looked so pretty. The staff were most attentive and the food delicious

                                                              Well worth the money & experience, superb food very quick service More than enough food laid out Even a box to take your food home you couldn't eat Will definitely go again

                                                              Overall experience was pleasant, food and staff were good but felt that the venue was sterile and lacked character. My wife did not like the plastic flowers on the table, she felt that a country house could have provided fresh flowers. Signage to the Tea Room from the car park was non existent, we had to ask in the cafe for directions to the Tea Room, which was very annoying as it was our first time there and it was pouring with rain!
